Allow Designers To Use Their Own Fonts

Zazzle has taken great steps to ensure that designers have a variety of fonts to use in their designs.
As a designer, font choices can truly have power to either make or break the design/ sale.

Please allow designers the freedom to use / upload custom fonts to the design platform so that we can do our best and truly feel that our designs reflect the full potential that we are capable of.  Let us have our full voice in this please.

Here are some designs that speak volumes in total font liberation.

I doubt Zazzle would want to do this because every single font a designer uploaded would have to go through the approval process, checking in particular for commercial use. Even those fonts that are free aren't necessarily legitimate the same as with supposedly public domain images. It would, at the very least, add to Zazzle's burden of having to have real human beings doing all the vetting.

Also Z letting creators use their own fonts on uploaded products, opens Z up to being part of lawsuits, when those who own/created those fonts find and sue both the creator and z. I seriously doubt that any creator on z would want to get sued for using fonts that are not permitted by the owners.

Yes, that's precisely why I said Zazzle would have to vet all "incoming." As the saying goes, "once burned, twice shy," and we can't blame them. Perhaps the OP wasn't aware of the ramifications.

I respect what you are saying but totally disagree.🤗
Other platforms protect themselves from all that you mentioned by making designers agree to ownership / and or commercial license rights before they allow the font uploaded.  Zazzle could totally do this!!!
Thanks again for your thoughts.  I'm believing Zazzle will move in this direction. Many said Zazzle would never move into instant downloads.  Now we see them.  Thank God!!!

Just wanted to put a promising ending to this post/subject from my end by saying this...
Zazzle is a mulit-,million dollar company😀 They can find ways to make this work.  If they set their mind do do something, it will be done.  Thanks all & happiest creating!!!
