It's really annoying to be logged in and working in my store and have to be interrupted periodically to prove I am human.

Still seeing me too during these days. It not always works, even keeping pressed for 1 minute, due maybe to momentary latencies. Time ago it never worked.

However I was able to access to my account and store. It's important everything else is working properly on the accounts.

That's there way of pointing the blame away from zazzle but it not only you a lot of other have the same problem .so there for its a zazzle problem not a designers problem. Like I call it if you are a bot come on in. if you are a human go away really. it should be set up that if you let a respond in there window it should flag their bot to tell it you are human .but that you be to easy.

Checkings are always wellcome, but they must be done following good ways and in repsect to anyone. Unfortunately this happens not only in online "World". If everyone think people are all the same, it's not a good start...
