Can we opt out of private messages?

I just searched for this and can't find anything.  Is there anyway to opt out of private messages on the stores?

I know there's default messages you can choose but wanted to know if we can opt out.

At this time, it is not possible to opt out of our private chat function.

Is there any chance of ever at any time in the future giving us an opt out?   I have been the opt out crusader from day one on the chat function and think it should be the default on any new features so that designers to have to opt in on purpose.   Thanks for passing it along!

I would like to opt out as well, I am tired of working for days on party suites only to be told they have decided not to purchase. It is such a waste of time, day after day of changes for someone and then no purchase.

I'd get on my knees and pray for that! I am shying away from my daily designing right now due to CHAT since I won't ignore the people, some are so very nice with whom to work, and some have cost me a fortune and weeks of time I do not have (and those never made a purchase). I have thousands of dollars of licensed images I am dying to use for my Zazzle product, but CHAT has me on hold. They ignore our little messages even like "MY HOUSE WAS DESTROYED BY HURRICANE IAN; yet, I'll be back eventually and do thank you"! To disable CHAT or even have a VACATION message would be amazing!

I see the private messages as part of selling products online. The things that I don't like are the spammers offering advice, coaching etc.

I was looking for a way to opt out of private messages on Zazzle & saw this forum, let me add my voice to the those who want to opt out. The only people who have contacted me are those who think I'm the maker or shipper. Also I'm not in my account every day so even if customer has an artistic question - none so far - I wouldn't have a timely reply. By then the person has moved on. It's also a magnet for spam. I actually have a message on my chat feature saying "Disabled". Would greatly appreciate if Z gave us the option. Thanks!
