Edit this design / Continue your design

I'm in the process of adding cover photos. I typically grab a screenshot of my design via Edit this design. I've noticed in the last couple of weeks that the Edit option leads to a pop-up that says "Continue your design? Pick up where you left off or start a new design from scratch." with many versions of design edits shown. Most look identical.

Is this a glitch? And if not, is there any way to deactivate this pop-up to help streamline this process for designers?

This has been happening to me for a year or two. It’s annoying.

I hate it. It's been there for years, but I hate the new version even more, because it is incredibly confusing if you have multiple previous 'versions'. I also would love to be able to disable it. I have never ever used the design from he pop-up.

I find this feature to be VERY confusing also!  I'd rather it not be there.
