Hi, I'm new to the community and still figuring this out, but I thought this might be a more appropriate channel than email.
I started designing on Zazzle at the end of 2022, but purchased my own save the dates on the platform in 2016, and have also purchased my own holiday card designs on Zazzle for the past two years. I'm glad the new envelope addressing feature was added at the end of this holiday season, but it's still really sub-par compared to Minted, and almost impossible for customers to locate. The process on Minted is pretty seamless overall and to be honest, I'd almost rather pay more for it and not use my own Zazzle design than figure out how to use the Zazzle address option or address envelopes again myself for my next moving/baby/holiday mailer. Once Minted hooks a customer on wedding invitations, they've basically got them for life because of the address book and easy addressing feature.
Anyhow, this is all background info to share that a potential Zazzle customer found me on LinkedIn (random!) with this message. I am helping them to either use Zazzle to address the envelopes or to download from Zazzle and upload to Minted (if that's even an option). But really it's a shame and it would be nice to instantly capture a customer like this on Zazzle if they're excited about a design and ready to make purchase.
Thanks for your consideration on improving the envelope addressing feature in a way that can still benefit designers who may have put in a lot of work to create matching envelopes for their event collections!

That’s a very valid observation. It takes time I assume to upload contacts and addresses unless there’s a way to automate it and so once done definitely you’d want to stick with the place that already has that info! As you say customers for life! I’m not familiar with this new feature on Zazzle as of yet.

It's a new feature, and may not be completely rolled out yet, but according to this page Zazzle does have an Address Book feature. I don't know how easy it is to use compared to Minted, though.

Ya. Unfortunately the only way for customers to know it exists is if they see a button from within their cart AFTER adding their invites/cards. I tested it a bit and it wasn’t the best user experience. Definitely hoping it improves/simplifies and that they can match up envelope designs from the same collection/seller vs recommending envelopes from other sellers.

I have waited so many years for Zazzle to offer printed mailing envelopes, so I'm thrilled to see them available, but the one-by-one address book option is very time consuming and not ideal. A bulk .csv address template file upload would be much more user friendly. This is what other stationery sites offer.
Also, on this future .csv address template, there should be a second recipient line for unmarried couples or children's names that should be separated from the first recipient line.
