Love the new product, but I'm very confused by the photos. The first 2 photos the sleeves look super short. They look 3/4 length at most. Then the photo of the jacket on the hanger they look to be normal length. When I compare the hanger photo with the first 2 photos it doesn't even look like the same jacket. Also not as big a deal, but the Zazzle description for the product mentions the model size and jacket size which is helpful information, but could prove to be confusing if sellers upload their own cover photo with a different model and jacket size.

I agree it's confusing, but I think it's just the way the jacket is cut. The back of the jacket is longer than the sleeves, and the sleeves are designed so they're basically an off the shoulder cut. You can see what I mean by looking at the view where it's on a hanger. When they have it laid flat, they have it positioned so the sleeves go out sideways at the seam, but on the hanger (and on the model) you can see that it's designed so the seam hits significantly below the shoulder.
I'm not sure if that made any sense at all, but it made sense to me! 😋

We created a thread for them in the Show Me forum. A lot of designers are using the image with the 3/4-length sleeve look.

Indeed, it's a drop-shoulder jacket, so "squaring" the shoulders isn't helpful in the photo unless our lady customers are built like linebackers.

I showed the denim jacket to my mom (a frequent Zazzle customer). Her first question was "Are the sleeves 3/4 length?".

Hey James,
Love the denim jacket! What's the correct size for image to be on the jacket itself? I keep getting the error that my image is to large for it! Help! Thank you, Anna aka leartiste67 #HappyKreating!

I love the new denim jackets! I'm excited about creating designs for them, and I can't wait to see what all Zazzlers envision.
One thought is to add more colors, if early sales look promising. Some suggestions are white (great for bridal themes), pink, black, and dark blue. I think the lighter and darker colors would provide good contrast for most designs.

I was looking at the “show me” thread, and maybe it’s my iphone, but the designs shown seem to look quite faded (no vivid colors). Is this an issue with my phone or a potential issue with printing on denim (like printing on a dark t-shirt)? If so, is there a vivid (with white underlay) option to increase the saturation of the design?

I think it's a great addition and I have already designed several of them. However, I think the length of the jacket looks different in the frontal vs. the back view.

I feel like the horizontal seam that runs through the upper back of the jacket (and back of the arms) is visually distracting to the designs, and it interferes where designs on the back of jean jackets are traditionally placed—making all of the placement of designs look way too low. Love this idea, but I would love it more on a different style jean jacket—one with longer sleeves, a longer mid-hip length, and no back seam would work for more customers. You’re almost there, but not quite.

I'm confused. Are you thinking that the sleeves aren't full length? You might want to check out the discussion further down in this thread re the off the shoulder cut. The sleeves are full length, they just look cropped because of the way they've positioned the flat lay. Look at one of the views where the model is wearing the jacket - the ones that show her from behind. You can see that the sleeves are indeed full length and the jacket is a mid-hip length. Unless I've misunderstood your comment, I think what you're reacting to is more of a problem with the flat lay images than the jacket itself.

The biggest problem is the seam on the back of the jacket that runs between the shoulders and through the back of the sleeves. That seam forces designers to place their designs abnormally low on the back of the jacket. There is no reason for the back of the jacket to have a horizontal seam (other than as a design accent). In this case, the seam interferes where designers place their designs. I think denim jackets are a fabulous idea, but not this particular jacket. If the print partner offers different style jackets, it would be worthwhile to look into other design options.

Yeah... my Levis denim jacket has a similar seam, but since it's not an off the shoulder cut, the seam is only about 4 inches below the collar. This one looks like it's closer to 6-8 inches below the collar if not more. I suppose the design placement could be good for people with long hair? 😃 Well anyhow, I agree that it would be nice to offer a more traditionally styled jacket, but I guess we'll have to wait and see how these do.

That would be my comment as well – the seam forces the image placement lower than where it feels it should be. But it could be the best of what the possible suppliers have to offer at this time. Hopefully we'll all sell some – they're fun to make!

The jacket is really nice, I particularly like how the front is detailed/styled.
I do agree with some of the other comments that the horizontal seam between the shoulder blades is a bit of a design obstruction/bummer, so if offering a different style jacket is not an option, is it possible for us to be able to design in the area above that seam as well as the area below?

The description says that the model is 6 feet tall and she is wearing a small. I'd like to see more models, average sized women, or teens and wearing mediums and large sizes.

Yeah, and I noticed when I was checking out the size chart the other day, the measurements don't seem to make a whole lot of sense – seems like the specific measurements are too large for the sizes. (ie: usually a 43" bust is an extra large...) Could a moderator please have these double-checked?

I'd like to see the top portion opened up for designing as well as below the decorative seam across the back. Then we could have the option of designs on just the top, just the bottom or both!

I am creating Pinterest PINs to advertise Zazzle Denim Jackets. However, when I click it once on my iPhone the jacket appears, but when I click it again to go and buy it, it shows "ERROR....the product is not available" . Does it have something to do with the "nofollow" algorithm? or else? I stopped creating PINs to advertise Zazzle Jackets until it is fixed.
Is anyone experiencing similar problems?
