2368 hidden products today.   How can Zazzle hide that many at one time and expect us to fix that many?  Not fair !   give up !  No one else hides products.  Doesn't  Zazzle  realize that they are also losing  a lot of sales by hiding our stuff?  Why should we even bother making products just to have them hidden from the public !!!

Hey @AWESOMA,

It sounds like your products are being hidden as they require optimization. This should be indicated in the back end of your store.

You can find information on this in the Marketplace Optimization help center article

I understand. But a while ago Zazzle said that they would only hide a handful at a time so we could we keep up with it. 2368 isn't a handful.

@AWESOMA   I personally totally appreciate that Zazzle does that in fact. I usually maybe post one new product a day so once that reaches 15 months (I think that’s the timeframe, right?) it’s easy for me to look at it to see what I could improve in that particular listing. Now I’m a snail 🐌 creating on Zazzle so I’m a bit shocked that you had over two thousand designs reaching the 15 month at the same day - you must work at blizzard speed!! 😮

The more products you have, the more will be hidden. And I make them just how I want them to be, so I'm not optimizing anything.  Just because a product  wasn't viewed in 15 months, doesn't mean it never will be. Most of my sales are from products that I made years ago . There are so many sellers and products being sold on Zazzle that lots of them are bound to be overlooked. That's not a reason to hide them from the public. I just think it's ridiculous because not only are we losing sales , but so is Zazzle.  No one ever knows what might sell, and when, so why hide products?  When you go out shopping, do you walk into an empty store?

Sorry that you got a whopping number of your products hidden, AWESOMA.  Boy, your statement "I make them just how I want them to be, so I'm not optimizing anything."  Gets a BIG CHEER: HOORAY from me!   Any Shopkeeper with integrity does just exactly that.

Getting the nasty notification does NOT mean that you need to Optimize over 2,000 products; all it shows is that you have products in your Shop that were created over 15 months ago.  I've gotten that notice for over 5,000 products "needing Optimization" from one of my Shops this month.  But then, I've been here since 2009, I have about 15 Active Shops here; and I have thousands of designs on thousands of products, many, many of them are 12 to 15 YEARS old, so many, many of them will certainly parade through that optimization-needed checkpoint as the days pass.

I set my page Display at 204 products and scroll through the products highlighted as needing optimization, you can easily see if there is a "problem" with any of them while scrolling down the page.   Usually I have to delete Round Stickers displaying my Square Designs, which I placed on SQUARE STICKERS, but which errant programmers have $^@*(>ed up by deciding the Round Sticker will be the default on display. (Yes, I simply Delete those), and similar programming SNAFUs change the default display on Mugs to show the back and handle area and NOT the design area???  Another delete!

If the customer wants one of my designs on a Mug, there is a Transfer Tool that he is welcome to use to place it there.  I have also been dumping products where my own "optimization meter" tells me they are outdated and simply taking up space.

My customers don't shop at Zazzle because they need new clothing.  They shop at Zazzle because they LIKE MY DESIGNS.
