This is a morbid topic. I will need directions for my son, or myself, as to how to transfer ownership of my stores
Also, in case the login gets lost, how to get into the stores should need be if I am gone.
Is there a setting where one can designate a beneficiary so that things will be less difficult?
I am not leaving quite yet, but am old enough to want to prepare.

Personally, it's not my need now. My store has not arised much to have much sales, but I'm sure if it starts being more in the market it will go very well. I designed and set everything, I do not give it away to anyone for case.

The way showed in the link seems like a personal guide only. I think the goal of this topic is to have legal steps info directly from Zazzle

In her document, Leah states that "At this present time, heirs contacting Zazzle Support after death is the only way to manage this type of transfer." If this is still true, and it probably is, the kind of transfer some of us have been considering (giving it to an heir while we're still alive) isn't possible. Which is a total shame.
Given that I've now passed my 80th birthday, I've been considering closing my store to pass on as little aggravation as possible to my son.

I brought this up a while ago. It appears that there are smarter ways to prepare for death.
What if, I wanted to know how about selling or giving the stores away BEFORE death so that the recipient would be better trained while I was still around.

Hi @Mistica
Great question!
In the event that an account needs to be transferred from a creator to another owner, this can be done yourself by updating the information provided in your account settings, i.e. Name, Address, email, password, payment information etc. We wouldn't require any documentation for this.
Should the transfer need to take place after a creator's passing, it's still possible. Verification would need to be completed, so specific documentation would be requested from the person taking over the account confirming their identity and legal right to your account, and once processed, the transfer will take place to them. They can contact support@zazzle.com to begin the process.
Hope that helps!
Beth

Thank you. So if I wanted to give it to my son or a friend while I am still kicking etc...I could fill in all the info and they will be responsible for everything including taxes and receipt of royalties.
Sim[le enough.
