How Many of Each Pro?

I was just wondering how many people are each Pro level.

Anyone have a guess?

It's unlikely anyone other than Zazzle would know.

As Barbara already mentioned nobody other than Zazzle will really know. It is safe to assume the Pro level will have the highest number of members and as we go up levels the number of members per level will be gradually smaller.

There are quite a few Pro Silvers and many have been here for years. A lot of members like myself have reached Gold level over the years having consistent sales. While some of the older members that were very active 10 years ago have disappeared (at least in the forums), many of us are still here. That said there are many in the upper levels now that I don't recognize. And of course there are many that have never been posting in the forums at all.

A few of those names that I recognize from way back have made it to Platinum level.

I only know of one member who reached Diamond level.

Yes, J32Design, as yourself and Barbara have mentioned only Zazzle  knows 🙄 All I know is that I have been at nearly silver over the last two years! Being an alien hasn't helped either!😃 That said the pro level is just there to lift your game or keep you sane!!

It's a fascinating thought and I bet there are way more people in each level than you or I could guess. As J32 had mentioned the number is probably higher because there are many who never come to the forums.

Just guessing. And I don't know how I'm guessing these numbers... Don't ask how... LOL

Based on "feelings".

Basic: 2500/3500. (This could be wrong).

Bronze: 800/1000. (This could be wrong too).

Silver: 250/300.

Gold: 80/100.

Platinum: 40/50.

Diamond: 15/20.

I bet those numbers are low. There are a gazillion Silvers.

I bet there's more in Bronze because it's a quick jump from Basic but a truly long haul to Silver.

I don't understand why Z wants to keep these numbers a secret. Seems to me that knowing how exclusive each "club" is would help incentivize people to work towards each goal. Ahh the mysteries of Zazzle. There are many.

Or it would thoroughly depress Creators to find out how few have moved up through the ranks. I also think it would put a target on the backs of high earners. The YouTube get rich quick bros have discovered you want to copy Gold and above. So giving them a number would let them know how many targets they have. At this point I wish Zazzle didn't even require that everyone at Basic has to at least show the ZPro badge. That is being used as well to target who to be "inspired" by too.

Silver and above have always been targets for others. This is unfortunately nothing new. There is probably not one person that has reached Gold level who didn't have a unique idea or design, which then went to the top of search in the MP and sold well. Then someone came along and did get "inspired". And before you knew it there were 20 more designs just like yours, which out of nowhere rank higher in the MP than yours.

That is reality when you do what we do. There is no protection here. All you can do is move on and keep moving forward. At least in my experience.

I got a referral recently and when I went to look at it, the design was a carbon copy of one of mine .... it wasn't copied by a lower-level seller though it was the muuuuuch higher ups. At least I got the referral!

They don't need to see a badge, they just use the 'most popular' filter and now the editors picks. Copying others who are more successful has never been a 'secret trick', it is one of the oldest tricks in the book, sadly. I posted a course item on it only yesterday - discouraging the practice! It is very lazy and not the way to success.

Constantly wondering why some things are scrutinized and bothered with when certain things that need attention, desperately, are completely ignored .... I have had too much coffeee, soooo that may not make sense to you, LOL!
