I can't see a way to find HTML code for products I want to promote on my blog. I can find HTML for my own products through my backend. But I can't see how to find HTML for someone's else's product. Obviously I do not have access to the backend of someone's else's product line.
Will Zazzle return HTML to the product page?
Or is this Zazzle's notice to designers to stop affiliating?

That's a really nice, straight-forward tute for getting started. I'd like to add my own two recommendations to it:
1) Forget about using Notepad. Or any other simple text editor intended for plain text. You will drive yourself batty & get eye strain staring at code in it. Instead, do yourself a favor and download Notepad++ which is a TOTALLY FREE editor that despite the name has nothing to do with Microsoft's Notepad.
With Notepad++ you can have two tabs open side by side which is unbelievably handy when you are copying & pasting code from one doc to another and is ideal for comparing two docs line by line, such as say a template you are using that you don't want to muck with, to a new page you're creating with that same code that you'll be editing. It has a ton of bells & whistles, more than the average Joe including self would ever need, but the #1 thing for me is how visually easy it makes editing code. You pick the language you want it displayed in (HTML or CSS for example) and each language has a default style applied to it to make it easy to read. But there's a very easy to use style configurer to set your own font style & colors and/or highlight colors for the different parts of a code in whatever way is easiest for you to read.
This screenshot shows the same piece of example code (copied from the Nifty bookmarklet tool) in two tabs. I have HTML set as the language and my own custom style applied. Below that is what the same piece of code looks like in Notepad. Ughh! Look how hard that would be to work with. Even if just dabbling starting out, having a decent editor meant for code and not just plain text will make the learning experience less frustrating.
2) You can quickly test snippets of code here: TryIt Editor
Delete the default sample content in the left pane, paste in your own code, and click the green Run button to see the results rendered in the right pane. Here's the sample code from the above screenshot in the TryIt editor:
It may seem really difficult & time consuming at first, but once you get the hang of the basics it's very satisfying to know you can control the look of your content without having to completely rely on code that was auto-generated for you somewhere.

I just now discovered that they've changed the Share icon on the product page. The curved arrow is gone, and now it's a box with an up arrow.

Unfortunately you have to do some extra work to add others items to your own site. I am going to try and add an item to mine right now and tell you how to do it. I have a Wordpress site.
Open the add post on you site - then go to the page of the item you want to post. Copy the title of the item from the top right of page. Past it to the text area and title area. Then open the share and right click and copy image. Go back to post and paste it. No code needed. Then go back and click on copy link and go to post and highlight text and add link. That is all you have to do unless you want to add the sellers info. It is easy and you can use as many images as you want. You can also do it this way with your own items. Not as fast but doable.

Good to know. I can't figure out how to "right click and copy image." after I open the share. Maybe it's just not possible with my touchscreen. Anyway, my feeling that I can't be working this hard for Zazzle has not changed and I discontinued adding to the blog I was using to promote other Zazzle products.

If I want to feature another designer's product on my blog, using my iPad, I first do a screen shot of the product, then crop it straightaway, and save it to my photos. I then copy the product link.
Going into Blogger, I create a new post, upload the image, select the image and paste the link.
I then write some blurb, and create a link there too.

This is a good method but may not be cost effective for some Zazzlers.
Because my blog is about other designers' postcards, and would likely generate pennies in income per year for me, if I am lucky enough to get any readers at all, I do not feel the time required for these extra steps makes sense. Add the fact that I was not generally featuring just one card per blogger post, but rather about eight to twelve, and it makes the whole process a much more labor intensive effort. The most challenging part is that my method, and the level of quality I aspire to, requires proofreading many times; much of this has to be done in the Blogger HTML page. This is very hard on the eyes.
If Zazzle was my job, I would do exactly as you suggest. But Zazzle is my hobby and if Zazzle does not want it to be easy for the hobbyist to do high quality affiliating then that's just the way Zazzle wants to operate.

You can also use this tool free
(code is same as as what you'd have with Zazzle)
http://justsoldonzazzle.com/zazzleaffiliatehelper/
you can adjust image sizes and add your affiliate ID and then it generates the code required to make a storepage, or single items.

I think that video only shows you how to find the HTML of your own products, am I right? What I used for my postcard blog was the HTML of products designed by other designers. Anyway, now I just go straight to Pinterest and it's a lot less work https://www.pinterest.com/ArmchairTravelers/postcards-of-the-world/

I am not understanding why Zazzle took the HTML option away. I had not read the forum about this until today and have been working on my own products HTML manually when posting on my blog because I thought it was gone. Yet this is not available for affiliates to post your products in their blogs or sites. I am all for those who want to promote my products on their sites. Yet Zazzle took that away.

I didn't get the memo where Zazzle took away affiliation.
