Hi all,
Just thinking about what's best when selecting from the 'Categories' and 'Recipients' menus, when listing new products.
If a product isn't for a particular person or event, but could suit several that are on the list, do you just pick one of the individual categories/recipients or are you meant to leave them blank?
For example, a striped notebook, customisable with a name, could potentially be a teenage girl's birthday gift, Father's Day gift, a stocking filler for a grandchild, etc. And a patterned rug might not be for a particular person or occasion, so how should it be listed (Housewarming?)
I quite often end up using Other > Everyday Events, but I'm not sure it even 'takes' as the category, as there's another branch of the tree (Driving the Kids, School Events or Shopping), and it isn't always possible to choose one of them.
What is best practice here?

Thanks for taking the time to reply. If it really is that simple then that's fine, I was probably overthinking it!
