It was nice to receive so many sales in a very short period. Sadly, I think the Christmas buying season has come to an end now, and there will be less sales until the next holiday. Surprisingly, my Google Analytics account tells me that quite a few people are still visiting my site, some even spent 15 to 30 minutes on it. I wonder why they spent so much time on my site but wind up not buying anything.

Yup, we're now in the dead zone of Christmas sales, but I guess we all expected it. Shipping has been somewhat awful for online ordering, and I bet customers are much more aware of timing now than they used to be. I ordered something from the state just beneath me, a straight line that always used to take a day for shipping, but it took three or four days to travel a single four-to-six lane highway.
Fear not, however. The customers are still out there. It's just that they're currently buying locally so that whatever it is can be used for Christmas or go under the tree. There's always Valentine's Day and St. Patrick's Day and Mother's and Father's Day along with all the in-betweens that can occur any time of year such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, etc. I guess we have to be multi-focused.
As for visitors hanging out for quite a while looking at our designs, they may be getting out of their chair while in the middle of looking at something because they want a sandwich or someone in the household wants their attention or the phone rings or whatever.

You're probably correct about the reason people hang out at my web site for a while. I've done this myself. I'm surprised anyone even lands on my site, because whenever I try to log in, I always have to go through a lot of Captchas and sometimes just give up because it takes way too long. Can't imagine customers spending that much time or effort to get to my site.

Have you identified where the people looking at your site live? I had a lot of long visits from Maryland before I realized I needed to block my own ISP so that my own visits would not show up.

Yes, I did. I can tell which visits are my own visits. By the way, how do you block your own ISP on Google Analytics?

Thank you, SORS! I just did it. I hate reading instructions but it wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be. Let's hope I did it correctly, though!

Instead of writing, "I'm surprised anyone even lands on my site," I should have wrote, "I'm surprised anyone is even able to buy anything from my site," as the Captcha only happens when your'e trying to log on or when creating more than two products at a time.

I've also noticed my analytics showing a lot of views on holiday cards, which probably wouldn't get there on time to be sent out/received at this point. Either potential customers are just running late or the old personalize & take a screen snap is happening. (The holiday rush WAS nice while it lasted & much appreciated!)

Same here. Many visits and few sales. Also some card cancellations because they were ordered too late and they don't want them anymore or maybe the chosen paper was too thin and they don't like it, but they wanted to save a little... Who knows? I need a little encouragement to see how sales and money is smaller every day...
