New Additional Flyer Product Images

I've just noticed the new/additional Zazzle product images for the 'Marketing Flyers". It's really helpful to have hands holding the flyer, as it gives a better sense of scale, and  type size. However, I think the flyer colors look quite shadowy. Especially the white areas, which look gray-beige. Also, I wish the background colors were more neutral, allowing the flyers to stand out more.

Perhaps they're showing how the thinner 'basic' or 'value' paper would look, but these options have been unavailable for a while now. The only available option is 'semi-gloss', which is 110lb weight and described as: 'Standard Semi-Gloss produces crisp, vibrant images with exceptional color and detail ...'

I see what you mean, they do look very dark, plus they're all aligned for a portrait/vertical design and display that way even if the design is aligned horizontally. I don't think that they're trying to reflect the thinner paper, because it says those papers have been discontinued.

I'm actually a little bit confused about what's going on with flyers in terms of paper. They didn't used to be available in the semi-gloss, just the thinner typing paper options, but now semi-gloss is the only option. Aside from the envelope option it doesn't really seem like there's a difference between these and the small size paper sheets now.

I'd like to know if the thinner papers are coming back or not - it seems like maybe these should be merged with the paper sheet product? Any way you slice it, I think it's confusing. There are now two seemingly identical products - one called a paper sheet and one called a flyer, but neither one is actually a paper sheet or a flyer, both are cards. I'm super confused here!

Yes, it is a bit confusing. I also noticed that the flyer product information still states:

• Choice of two papers - Basic and Value

Also, I've just realized that only the 4.5" x 5.6" paper is 'Semi-Gloss'. The other two larger sizes are lightweight 'Thin Glossy Paper'. Perhaps that's what the new product images are illustrating 🤔

4.5" x 5.6" Paper Type: Semi-Gloss (12.5pt thickness / 110 lb weight)
5.5" x 8.5" Thin Glossy Paper (lightweight)
8.5" x 11" Thin Glossy Paper (lightweight)

The 'Thin Glossy Paper' is also described as 'matte finish'!

I contacted Zazzle about this in July. They are looking into it.
