New QR attribution on the *inside* of foil note cards...

I'll have to check to see if it's the same for all note cards, but come on.... on the back - ok on commercial cards you'd find things like the copyright and price barcode so having things on the back is not totally weird, but on the inside... I'm really hoping this was a mistake (and thus why I've placed it in technical issues). No one would want this on the inside of their note card. The good news, removing the attribution is working from my store's backend. The bad news... I'll have to do them one at a time.

Thank you for the heads up!   How does one remove the attribution on the stores back end? Thank you!

Thank you!  I'm assuming it takes time for it to go into effect.  Do you know if it means the card has to be reindexed in Zazzle all over again?

Yeah - it looks like it will take some time to go into affect in our public stores. In my designer view they've all gone away, but out front the cards still show in the marketplace fine, but the QR codes will still be there until the next time everything updates...

Out of 4 foil cards that I have - only one (created on Craft Paper) does not show the logo at all. All others do have this on the inside. Not Good!!!

Holy Moly! Thanks for the heads up. I'm with you, this MUST be a mistake. Otherwise, someone seriously needs to rein in the marketing department!

To be honest, that entire attribution project looks like someone brought a kid to the office.

I truly hope someone from Z comes here to see this. It has got to be a mistake.

I agree, It's bad that they put it on the inside.

Anyway, the QR code on mine takes me to a Zazzle 404 page. So, they seem to do nothing as well.

Even though that isn't surprising, it still made me laugh.

I've been going through all of my foil cards to remove the attribution (and update tags while I'm at it) and I had an "a-ha moment." The foil cards have foil printing on the back as well as the front, and since Zazzle doesn't seem to have the capacity to print both in foil and ink on the same surface, there wouldn't be any way for them to put a QR code on the back. This means that my assumption that the code was meant to go on the back is incorrect. It also probably means that it wasn't necessarily a case of over-aggressive marketing, it was just the only place they could put it on these sorts of cards.

Anyhow, it seems like this isn't the error I assumed it was, so unless Zazzle decides to do away with the attribution on these foil cards all together, the only real option is to turn it off - at least for me, since it covers up the design in most case. In other words waiting to see if it gets "fixed" is probably not the best option in this case.
