Nothing Selling while new FB to Zazzle post is still not working

I feel like complaining two and tree times a day. I am not able to post to FB as I was and today it is official that my sales are dropping due to this. I don't know about anyone else but I am lucky to make one sake a day and that is just wrong compared to  how mush I was making before you and FB both decided to make things work better, I live on a fixed income and I am depending on  the funds from what I sell here to feed us and pay for some things.  I do not know how I am going to have money for taxes at this rate  Please tell me things will be back to normal tomorrow or you will front the taxes.

Facebook? I haven't been sharing anything so I didn't know it's not working.  when does this happen?

When you hit the share icon on the design page

Not sure when it started happening. When they added Meta. It is still going on and the way you can post to FB is different again.

Can't you download the image and add it to Facebook with the links etc.?

I've had to do this for a few years if I want to share effectively to Facebook as it was always hit and miss whether the image would display. Same with X ( Twitter ). Or perhaps I have misunderstood what the issue is that you're having?

I know it is very frustrating to have to do this due to the extra time it takes. It's just something I resigned myself to.

I tend to do it in 'bulk' and then not at all in between times. So I'll set aside a day or time period to blast FB. It's very sporadic.

Whatever it is I hope you find a fix.

I have had the problem with FB at certain times but since the new setup it was working fine. I hate repeatedly posting to FB one after the other because it seems like too much at once. But that is the only option now.

yes it is arduous!

I have found that I can copy the image right off the page and add it to the posts. I just copy the title name and link underneath the image first and add that and go back and copy the image and paste that on top. They still have the #zazzlemade tag and I add sales of availability info after that before pasting the other stuff.  Thanks for your idea. I remember the old days when it didn't work. It was so nice when finally it did work so well. I guess it is sad knowing how smoothly it can run only to have it taken away.

I wanted to second what Leah said. The Facebook sharing tool broke (for me) during the last four months or so. What I do now is:

  • Jotting down the daily rebate special
  • Title of my listing
  • Short Description including URL
  • A list of tags/key words (can not be used for all Social Media platforms)

And then I just go through them all using the social media icon list on the bottom of my website (similar as you may can see here in my forum signature (which is inconclusive and still looks like crap because I just did that last night). I‘m not doing it daily but when I do (fairly regularly) I‘m always amazed at how random the views and likes turn out, they differ greatly for so many reasons. But I figure if I won’t do it I‘m going to loose those eye balls and I have no budget for paid ads at this time - easy as that. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I am not understanding your instructions.

Oh, I‘m not surprised a bit - sorry about that. 😐 I was 31 when I learned English and I say things often in a weird (uncommon) way. Maybe you can better see how one of my typical postings on Facebook look like with this link: https://fb.watch/rc1VW55x11/?mibextid=cr9u03

I write the vital information of each listing I will promote on Social in Notepad (on the laptop) or in Notes (on the iPhone) and then I just copy and paste from my notes onto the Social Media platform in question (for Twitter as an example I will have to delete the text which is over the limit though but that’s quick and painless to do as well), I’ll take the titel, description and tags from the Zazzle listing (again it’s just copy and paste onto my note text file) and than I’ll make my round on Social. I post the video or image directly to Facebook and of course I use my referral link too in hope to get a referral. I have gotten one so far. I‘m not using Zazzle‘s html sharing tool to post on Social. And on a site note I just noticed that the sharing tool from Zazzle leaves the most important element of the title out - in my postings example the words „Duffel Bag“. 🙄 I noticed this two days ago because I do use the sharing tool to gather the html code to paste onto my own website(s) and so it came to my attention. Easy to fix because I just add the missing words on my sites. 😉

No worries. I also learned English when I was already an adult.  I find your English is better than mine.

Wow!  I like your video a lot. Very well done!

I also can't post to Facebook any longer, and although I didn't get daily saies, I definitely can notice the difference. In fact, I haven't received a sale since the beginning of March, when before I could count on getting at least two per week. This is definitely disappointing, especially since I worked hard on creating cover pages which I thought would increase sales.  Although you can copy the image and then copy the link (making sure your associate ref number is attached to the link) it is quite time consuming.  You wouldn't want to copy the image address because, although it will include a link, it will not include the associate reference number which will result in you're not getting to referral royalty.

You might be right about this, I can feel the sales down without zazzle facebook, as many referral marketers are pulling customers through facebook. this might impact all our sales. 🤔🙁

I gave up on referral royalty years ago.  So many times I know I should be getting the referral and no matter how much I try to explain it to CS at Z the same form letter comes back about how it works. After 10+ years I know it by heart. The last one I fought was a sale made of my own item and I made over $50 on the referral alone. The buyer cancelled the order 😞 but came back an re-ordered.:)  I would have had no problem with it if the new sale had a 3rd party referral. That way I know the buyer either figured out how to get the fee for themselves or given it to someone else. But there was 'none' for referral. I was bummed that they couldn't see to give me the fee. Sorry I am venting again. That was a lot of money for me. After all this time one double digit referral would have been nice. I wonder if the company actually is that petty to keep the fee? I did get a larger amount on the sale but not nearly what I would have made with the referral added.

UPDATE:  Posting to FB is still not working and sales took a huge decline. I wish they would take this seriously because it is a big change for those of us who have a limited amount of time I have spotty internet connection so time is super important.  My biggest problem now is getting posts to anyone of five stores I have on FB and to the selling groups. There is a work around but it takes way too much time. PLEASE ZAZZLE TECHS we need to be able to post direct to FB. You made it possible and told us to do this and now it has been taken away. I spent way too much time to be loosing money now because of a simple glitch. It seems like the time spent on all the new products, collections, wedding suites is for naught if we followed your instructions and used FB as one of out main networks to advertise. I was suspended from X aka twitter because I was posting everything there and not taking advantage of the dozens of places I have to post to on FB.  Sorry I am venting but this is getting to be a very old problem that other places have seemed to fixed.

** The links sent in emails of newly mad products works from the email but not on the site. This should give the technicians an idea of what works and does not work. Right now I don't care if the referral code does not work. I am not sure if it is added with the email but just being able to post is what is needed.

Is there anything being done and when can we expect it to be completed. If anyone thinks this should be asked in a different forum please share.
