I uploaded new designs. better, prettier and cleaner, with same products, description, tags and titles. but it's not getting the sales or enough views. also my old product continues to get more views.
This is like the successful gets more successful while the unsuccessful struggles. 😅 I think this has something to do with zazzle algorithm. like oh! this item is selling, let's continue to market this one... !
I still don't know how zazzle search ranking works, or how do zazzle pick for their editorial... I think some of you that have editorial pick for your items are lucky, it must be selling tons for those items alone..

Firstly, How long ago did you upload your designs? If it's only been a matter of days be patient. I know it takes a little while for products to reflect in the market place.
Secondly, I don't think it's a matter of luck that other people's products are selling or that they're products are being chosen for "editor's pick". There are too many variables to make generalizations about other people's success on the platform. But one of the biggest factors is the amount of time other people have been on the platform. There are people who have had Zazzle stores for over a decade that us new creators are competing with. When some of these successful accounts started there was less competition and more of an opportunity to expand their digital real estate. I think it's probably best to focus more on consistently uploading, making sure your account it setup to improve your Z-rank, and maybe even checking out the planning guide Zazzle released a while back, their guide is a useful way to generally plan/design for major events and holidays throughout the year (click here to view).
Anyway, you are right about how the Zazzle algorithm pushes products. It's all about "social proof" at the end of the day. If you have a product that is constantly selling it's likely to be pushed to a larger audience based on their response.
I hope some this information was helpful and gives you encouragement to steadily push forward.
Good luck,

The tips from rumlanedigital are spot on. I will just add that while Editor's Picks are nice, I personally have not seen a strong correlation between my Editor's Picks and sales. So, I wouldn't get too hung up on them. Most of my bestsellers are not Editors Picks, and most of my Editor's Picks have sold little or not at all.

Yah, maybe I was just getting impatient, 😅 1 or 2 of my new items just got sold. I think it's just a matter of time I guess.

I find that happens to me a lot. I improve a design, repost the new design, and then the OLD one starts selling! And the new designs and variations never seem to get the traction that the old ones have.
