Potentially malevolent scam: "Shop Verification"

Hi Zazzle & Zazzle Community,

Just got this message and, being half-asleep, foolishly clicked the link. It didn't work for me (or didn't seem to) so I hope that no viruses or trojans have invaded my computer's system, but I thought I should post a heads-up for other sellers and also report it as a scam (not just as innocent spam) to Zazzle itself. I did report as spam and block already, of course.

It's a shame scammers are getting on here, too.

No need to apologize! I completely understand. I get pretty spicy about this too - and also copycats.

Hi Andrea, I spoke to another user who also opened the link, and apparently it's just a scam - still bad of course, but it doesn't seem to be a virus or come with any sort of malware. Obviously, I've also been extra careful to run checks with my antivirus, but it looks like they're after our bank details etc. without being advanced enough to infect our systems... still horrible though.

I had a search around and similar "verification" scams are running on Etsy as well. It's a sad world sometimes.

Thanks for checking.
