Purchase only 1 wedding card and copy it at stores nearby

Hi, I recently had customers buy only one wedding card. Maybe they only want to see, how it looks real. But my opinion is they buy only one, drop at a copy shop, so they safe money. To even safe more money, customize it, make a screenshot, cut it to the right size and go to the copy shop. With this in mind, I tried it with my own design, one with a screenshot, one with a purchase. They looked nearly the same. And it is very fine if you might send it digital.  It is only an idea, because people want to safe money because of the inflation, and many of them need to do it.  Can zazzle do something against this? It is just a thinking out of the box. Have you thaught about this problem, too?

Single sales are actually a good sign! I wouldn’t worry too much about copy shops. Most of the time, a single purchase on a wedding invite is simply a customer ordering a sample.
It’s actually a great sign. It means they like the design enough to pay for a physical copy to check the paper quality before committing to a large, expensive order. It is very hard to get people to spend hundreds of dollars based solely on a screen image.
Even if they don't return, that one sale helps your Zazzle ranking ("sold" items rank higher than items with zero sales), which puts your design in front of more people. I’d take the win!

I agree it's a win because it brings your product higher up in the search. But indeed I see this a lot too. With wedding stuff I assume they are testing a few samples. But now at the holidays I see people ordering one custom holiday card. And there is not enough time to get the one card, decide, re-order, receive and mail out ... let's be real. So yeah I assume they are probably scanning and sending it out digitally. Annoying but nothing can be done about it!

Once I randomly saw one of my sign designs out in the real world. I was so so thrilled! I spoke to the person who had it displayed. Well.. they had seen it in google images (likely from Zazzle/pinterest) and printed it out, and thought it was perfectly fine to do so. And it looked pretty great also. So... yeah.
