Repeat order then cancells

Over the past couple days I have had the same person order the same few things then immediately cancel them. It's happened 4 times. Hard to tell if this person needs assistance or if there is something else going on. Has anyone else had this happen?

This may unfortunately be someone trying out a stolen credit card number to see if it is valid...

Yes, I had a person do this on and off for like a year.  I agree with PenguinPower it may be someone trying stolen credit cards.

WOW, that is one persistent individual.

It depends on the item. That is pretty common with seating charts and other complicated templates. I helplessly watch people cancel items 3 or 4 times before they get it right.

She's ordering gift tags, ribbon and favor bags. Well, technically she hasn't ordered anything. 🙄

People have reported the credit card scenario, and it seems to go on for quite a number of iterations. It's probably a matter of waiting and watching to see whether or not it's legitimate.

Is your customer living outside USA? Because sometimes it is the credit card that doesn’t work properly. It took 4 times for my international customer to get it right and she was a friend who didn’t give up easily. I had another customer from Italy and the order was immediately cancelled, she didn’t come back. Don’t feel bad and good luck with your shop.

Looks like she's from Michigan 🤔

Got another "order" from this person this morning...countdown to pink cancellation begins. 🤔😳🙄

Hopefully she got all her info right this time. Sometimes I get messages apologizing for stuff like this. Family members having trouble agreeing to details etc. Sometimes they just find Zazzle confusing. I would love to hear how this works out.

This happened to me a few months ago - same order from the same person, canceled, reordered, probably 4-5 times. Eventually, the customer messaged me that he was trying to put a university name on the graduation item and it was actually getting canceled by Zazzle (I told him to reach out to customer service). I don't doubt there are scammers out there and various schemes attempts through Zazzle, but just wanted to throw out that there could be a legitimate reason that's a little less nefarious.

Currently I am having this happen to me the person is from CA - single invitation being purchased, the same invitation twice but only 1 each?  Maybe it is a set up problem but honestly why after 2 tries not ask for help?

It has been now 3 orders - 3 different days - consecutive days - 3 cancellations all made in the same day of ordering?

Is there a way we can reach out to Z to find out if it is a ordering problem or a fraud problem?

too strange

If you make a product that looks like a football ticket then don't be too surprised if people add the names of NFL teams to the design. We're unable to print the names of NFL teams.

When it comes to wedding invitations, it could be a couple trying to agree on something, vendors cancelling. The fact that they are only ordering one means they could be trying to decide between several options and are trying out different text etc. I sell mostly occasions stuff and I try not to think about all this too much. Some days my sales report is a sea of pink and then it all works out.
