It's not even a good scam, given that the "verification process" was to give them my bank card information: Automated message from the system:
Your Shop has been suspected of fraud. You will not be able to sell items on our platform until we verify that you are a real person.
You will need to go through a verification process to confirm your identity. Please complete the form to verify your details via the link generated:
(link removed by Moderator)
We will forward this information to our customer service department and notify you once we have completed the verification.
Thank you very much for your understanding.
Zazzle Team
Just a heads up for other designers. They had one of my products shown in the message. Scammers usually target multiple people.

I got the same email today. Gave my card number, but quickly called my bank and blocked the card. Reported that account and blocked. Unfortunately, it only can be reported as a spam (not very serious!) and not as a SCAM.

I just got the same. I clicked the link but it didn't work for me; did yours take you to a page requesting your details, or is it a virus that can infect you in other ways somehow...? Thanks for your help!

It's not a virus is a scammer who creates a Zazzle profile using the Zazzle logo as a profile pic and calls the page Verification and tries to steal creators credit card info. As I said previously I've fallen for it at first hand and opened the link filling up the cards details but than I realised it was strange and didn't follow up the second request to open another link to fill in more personal details. The scammer went crazy and even after blocking the messages and the sender, for past 3 days I kept receiving similar store verification requests from new fake Zazzle pages created by the scammer. All we can do is report the profile as a scam and keep blocking.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. It's all so horrid... hope your accounts are safe now. This scam is a lot more convincing than most, imo; I saw the "Zazzle employees are labelled with the official badge" message, but I wasn't sure what they meant by "official badge" and figured it was probably the Z icon - which was there. I'm normally more careful than this as well.

I've fallen for it only because I've just joined and didn't know how the platform looks and got freaked out when I saw a message with Z logo saying my account is temporarily blocked and needs verification. Do click on the message source and you will see the fake account it comes from. Yes it's horrid, seems this same very scammer targeting new people.

Had the same thing happen to me. It said my sales were suspended until I gave my credit card information. Didn't do it. Zazzle pays me through PayPal and the only time I ever needed to use my card was if I was buying something.

I almost fell for it. It was indeed pretty convincing. But why would zazzle ask you to enter your credit card information if the payment method is through Paypal? Fortunately I found this thread which confirmed my doubts. This is what it looks like for me:

I was about to give away my card details but soon realized that something wasn't right. I went back and checked all the details. The message (too much drama), the landing page (blurry), the payment verification screen (only credit card option was enabled), the profile (which had the recent items the user had visited) and in addition, I was already suspicious on why will Zazzle ask for my credit card details when the payments I receive was usually through payoneer. As someone who is new to this platform, never expected this kind of spammy messages and I'm now very cautious on every step I take on Zazzle. Thanks to the help team which confirmed that it is a spam email. I blocked the account now.

Hi,
I had this all the time and always with the same sender address via email. Your products were posted, then there was the verification of the bank account... and I'm standing here now and don't even know whether my store has been hacked too.
Support says they don't know anything about it.
And then I read here that this has been an issue for months.
I really feel like I'm being played for a fool.

I wonder if it's possible for Zazzle to create an automated system that detects links and then disallows any link going outside the platform.
It's a shame we have to be suspicious of everything and everyone.

I almost fell for it. I logged in and a chat box popped up suspected fraud on the platform and they need to verify my account with my bank info. The link when to a screen which had 3 options on the right, bank card, Paypal and Google but the only option to verify you could choose was bank info. Zazzle pays out via PayPal so I knew giving my bank info would not allow them to verify anything. I hope Zazzle has some techs in place to address this scam quickly. It would be a shame if they got dozens of lawsuits for victims who fell for the scam and are looking for return compensation.
