I just got a message and it says - Hello, your account has been temporarily restricted due to suspicious activity for the platform's security. To restore full access to your account's features, you need to complete the verification process. After successfully completing the verification, all restrictions will be lifted, and you can continue using the service. If you have any questions, please contact us here, and we will provide detailed instructions on how to complete the verification. Dear seller, now you need to enter your card details so that we can confirm your identity. Don't worry, this is completely safe. Your information is necessary to link to our payment system, so after verification, you will be able to buy and sell without any issues. This is a mandatory security measure -
It immediately asks for credi card details - is this a scam?

I just received a similar message, except it said I have been banned and came here to find out if this is a scam. It gave me a "verification" link but I didn't click on it.
This is what the message said (removed link to be safe)
You are banned from Zazzle for violating our Terms of Service. Your account was banned for fraudulent activity. At Zazzle, we value the safety of our community and activity like yours will be permanently suspended.
We have received payment for your item, but an error has occurred: the purchaser’s account has been suspended for engaging in abusive practices on our platform. To safeguard your own account from suspension, you are required to complete a mandatory verification process to confirm you have no involvement with this individual.
Please copy and paste the following link into a new browser tab to begin verification immediately:
link removed by me
All information you submit will be held in strict confidence. Identity verification is performed securely via your bank and the Stripe.
You have 24 hours from the time of this notification tо cоmplеte the process. Failure to comply within this timeframe will result in the permanent suspension of your accоunt and fоrfeiture of all future access to Zazzle

I got a similar one, looks like the scammers have targeted Zazzle. It's that time of year, they're ramping up all over.

I had this in my messages today:
"ZazzIe Account Reverification Required
Hello! 👋
As part of Zazzle’s updated security and compliance policies, all users are required to complete account reverification. Please go to [url removed] and follow the on-screen instructions to verify your information.
Thank you for your cooperation!
— The ZazzIe Support Team"
Clearly a scam so I have reported the poster. This needs to be nipped in the bud.

Thank you, @Heather
Do you recommend we now change passwords, after receiving such a chat message?

One of these just came into my inbox. The sender of the message, "Tech Sup," is labeled as an "Independent Creator," not a Zazzle employee. (The name itself set off my scam warning system; it's the sort of handle that a fake technical-support fraudster would use.) The message reads:
You have been banned from Zazzle for violating our Terms of Service due to suspicious or fraudulent activity. To restore access, identity verification is required. Please copy and paste the following link into a new browser tab to begin the verification process:
<link removed by moderator>
All information you provide will be handled with strict confidentiality and processed securely via your bank and Stripe. You have 24 hours from the time of this notice to complete the process. Failure to comply will result in permanent suspension of your account and loss of all future access to Zazzle.
Thank you for your immediate attention.

PS: I just checked the page source for the page at https://zazzle.id6640257.click/cHY4bwKtWBrTXE1z, which is made up to look like an official Zazzle page. Near the head of the page, nestled in with the meta tags, there's a line:
<script type="module" crossorigin src="/assets/fraudster/loader.js"></script>
The onclick attribute of the "Continue" button reads "onclick="fraudster.payment.open()"
All of the branding assets are stored not at Zazzle.com, but at zcache.com, except for the Z logo, which is held at https://imgur.com/bUZHgJE.

Just reporting the scammer has a new method. Instead of writing about security and blocking an account I received a message I should follow a procedure bc I made a sale that was paid by a bank card. Needless to say I did not click a link but reported and blocked the user „Byron Supp623“.

I didn't click on it, but I received this as well. There was not check mark, and that is how Zazzle lets us know it's them or not.

My initial problem was that none of the icons on the help page loaded for me. So I saw a lot of crossed-out pictures that should give me helpful information about who is legit and who is not. 🙂

I also got that message. I copy/pasted the link that took me to the page that wanted my CC info, which stopped me in my tracks. I reported it to Z.
