Have to love people like this guy 👆 who straight up when I told him that my design was not available for digital download told me he was just giving me the courtesy of offering me a few bucks as he had already screenshot the invitation to use to send to all his friends. Ugh! I wish people had morals.

I dunno. Clearly there are bad actors out there who don't care that they're violating someone's copyright. But I also think that a LOT of people simply don't understand. I got a message from a customer recently who was livid that content management had blocked her purchase because she had added an image from Disney's Black Panther movie. She was convinced that the image was public domain because she'd seen it on the internet and she thought that anything on the internet was public domain.

I'm not sure where the appropriate place for a notice about the image license would be, but it's a pretty good bet that nobody will see or read something if it's just buried somewhere in the user agreement.

Another reason that Zazzle might be hesitant to offer paid for digital downloads, is that they’d have to deal with the VAT requirements of individual countries….
