Thank you Zazzle for acting quickly

So I admit, I'm the first to rant and rave when not happy about something. I have several posts to prove that. 🙂

But, in this case, I want to send out a big thank you to Zazzle. I was in a situation where someone was copying all my products and putting them in their shop.

I wrote to Zazzle and they first deleted the products that I sent (with proof that mine were made first and with my own artwork), then when the person kept on doing it, they removed their shop.

Since this happened I have also noticed a big increase in sales. Not sure if that is a coincidence or not. But either way, just wanted to thank you Zazzle for acting so promptly. I really appreciate it.

I'm glad you got a result!! Very stressful situation to be in and great those sales have increased.

Thanks Leah, it was so stressful while it was happening but glad it's over!

How did you discover that someone was copying your work? My sales are down significantly, so I'm wondering if I might be in the same situation. Somethings up, but I don't know how to figure out the problem.

I also would love to know how you discovered it.
My sales income is under 50% of what it was....and I had been adding new and better products for months and even years. I now have 12k products. Yet...my followers increase daily but my sales do not.
I went from about 10-15 sales a day to single digits...like even 1. It leaves me to wonder...are the new followers genuine admirers ... or pirates?
Yes...wondering what is going on besides the economy.

Hi Linda and Mistica, so this was someone I had been helping that I had met on my Zazzle Youtube channel. Every once in awhile I'd go in and look at her products and leave some hearts on them and just chat with her through the Zazzle chat or under my youtube videos. She was in my Zazzle group on FB as well. So, one of the times I went to check in with her I just happened to notice that some of her designs were looking a lot like mine. I went back and started finding more and more designs including my own artwork that she had lifted from my designs and put on hers. Here is a video I made about it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cqZt2MTafvI&t=2s

I want to add that when this happened, many people wrote me with their stories of people stealing their artwork and designs too.  I asked them how they found out and they told me they go to their best selling products, then take the title and search for it in Zazzle. And many of them found their products people were stealing this way. Apparently when people steal people's designs, they tend to steal everything, the title, the tags and the descriptions.

I don't know if my increasing sales have anything to do with this or just on a lucky streak. In my groups everyone is talking about lowered sales, and even though I have been selling more since this situation, I still am only at 1/4 of what I used to be in sales.

I know most people on the "low sales" posts tend to think it is the economy causing low sales. And that may play a role but I believe it was the changes in collections and mock up photos that somehow messed things up. It was right when the collection changes were implemented that I saw my sales tank. Again, just my opinion.
