Ties: why the close up view no longer available?

Originally the options were the whole tie, the back of the tie, the tie worn on a person, and a closeup of about the lower 5"-6" of the bottom of the tie, which would give you a good idea of what it looked like.

That's been replaced with a 'rolled view' which pretty much shows bupkis on many designs.

Any idea why this change was made?

If it helps, I am still selling ties even with the new preview that is not as good as the old one... It is also very flat looking and doesn't show off the sheen of the fabric.

I am also unhappy with the new in situ photos of ties.  The rolled version is distorting many of my designs.  As the image goes from left to right the design increases in size which runs counter to expectation--that is, things should diminish the farther they are from the viewer.  The tie on the shirt front also looks creased down the middle to me.

I don't make a lot of ties but wish that TPTB had left well enough alone.

My biggest problem is that without that view I can't tell how much of the image is left off the tie when I first add the image, and so I don't know when, how, or if I need to make a change.  And yes, the rolled version fails to show soooo much of the actual print.

Mark- Why is the default this tiny rolled up tie?? I had set most of my ties in the folded shirt view (so you could see the pattern). But now they all defaulted to this view. Most of my patterns can not be seen in this view. Ties are my biggest item at Zazzle. Could you please explore the powers in change of this decision to set it back to  what we had picked as your view choice? Thank you in advance and hoping this will not be ignored.

Hi @driveindustries,

Thanks for your feedback here. I will be sure the team receive it.
