What is best commission to put?

The commission is pre-set at 30 percent

I was thinking more is better so I was putting 50 percent

I do want sales

I also want money (I am fine with fewer sales but MORE Mony as I have to pay bills)

There is the McDonalds way which is Low Commission but more sales overall. 

What do the people who have been here a while say?

What is a good setting, so I do not have to go back and change it constantly

I am between 5 and 10%, very few at 14.9%

if your store addresses a niche that's not saturated to death with hundreds of thousands of other designs from other creators, you may feel justified in marking up your royalty by 30 or even 50 percent (so long as you are ok with not getting sales every day).

I am going with 10 percent across the board

There are always exceptions, for the most part 10 percent

For many of my products, because they are unique to some "touristy" areas, I have most of my markups set at 21%. For prints of my wall art I mark up 50% (or a bit more).

In my settings, I changed it to 10 percent

It's default at 5% if I remember, I guess most set it between 5% and 15%.
