On the old forum, many of us have interacted with their store name and may now have a new user name. Thought to make this post to help us recognize each other in these cases.

Like you, Fio, I'm using my real name instead of Zazzler, Colorwash, or CW. But why are we now all called "Visitor"?

IMO, it's the best way, considering we may also interact with customers. The forum is linked to the account, not a particular store, and I opted for my personal name instead of my company name to keep the communication on a more "personal" level.

They're still fine-tuning the whole thing, I guess the term visitor may be turned into something like "Creator" for us designers, which would make sense.

Well, I didn't realize that usernames can't be changed, so I guess I'm just Cat here. But at Gina's suggestion I created a signature to clarify that I'm ZingerBug - since I sometimes used my store name on the old forum. The problem is that the signature only appears on certain forums, not all of them. Hmmm...

Well, I'm still Saints_Aplenty, my store name, but--alas!--my logo has gone from the black initials S_A on the red background to my profile pic for Marmion Kreations.

Same in my case, showing my RL business logo. The forum is linked to our accounts, not our stores. That's also why I changed from Pets to my account name, using my personal name instead of FX Graphica, tho, to keep it personal in the forums.

Take it as a compliment. I like your style - always present when someone needs help but also not afraid to stand up for your own points of view while still respecting opposite opinions and being able to deal with criticism. It's getting rare those days where childish over-sensitiveness is more and more replacing healthy debates between adults.
