Your Halloween Sales: Good, Bad, or Indifferent?

In my niche, I don't make Halloween products, so I have no stats to go by. But Halloween sales may be a bellwether for the upcoming Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. That's why I'm asking the larger Zazzle community: How were your Halloween sales? Good, bad,  or indifferent?

I suspect this holiday season will be a make-or-break one for many Zazzlers sitting on the fence about whether to stay on the platform or go, given the many changes that have been made since April. So, my curiosity is far from idle.

Stats? Thoughts? Comments?

Indifferent. I sold some Halloween placemats and also some Oktoberfest stuff. Less than last year.

I don't recall ever doing well on Halloween which is dissapointing because I love it so much. I think I may have sold a few Baby Shower invitations, but that's about it.

I sold more Halloween the last two years. I designed some new etched barware that I thought would sell bigtime, lots of looks no sales. I don't know if this is an indicator for Christmas. I've been selling Christmas product since August. I'm not a big store, 2,300+, and probably not the norm.

About sitting on the fence situation, evaluate how much time you spend on your store, what percent do you enjoy doing what you do, and maybe do a pros and cons list. It's not all about the sales and money. You need to enjoy what you are doing. Many creators leave and come back with a new outlook, ideas and purpose. I did. 😉

Wishing you success during the holidays ahead.

I started selling Halloween invitations and cards in June..sales were good for stationery but not for home decor or T-shirts. My sales for Halloween were a few things after August..then sales for this holiday stopped.
