Fun Q - What is the most money you've made on a single Zazzle sale?
I'll go first. I think it was a $32 profit on a now-defunct postage stamp sale. Miss those postage stamps!

My craziest bulk sale ever was 1200 paper party hats for $325.13. Have no idea what kind of occasion calls for 1200 party hats but I celebrated that day anyway..lol.

Most money i have made to date on a single customer order was just last month. A customer ordered 400 holiday invitations and 400 matching response cards. It was a self-referral (I am in the promoter program). For that one sale, I earned $120 in royalty and the 35% self referral earnings of $572.60 for a total earnings of $692.60. That was exciting!

Thank you CrazyMermaid! Overall, sales have been slower since the economic downturn, so this one was a welcome sight to my earnings report! 😃

For me it was bulk button order. Royalty plus self referral made a tidy sum right around $300.

Last year I made $841.86 in a self-referral, plus the royalty, because a dear lady purchased 300 bag tags for her ladies nine-hole golf league. I do hope that she was so happy that they will be back for something more. A gal can dream, can't she?

Hi — it is a luggage tag — but this one didn’t have the individual’s back address on it, the back just said the name of the club and Ladies Nine Hole League. And you are right, there are clearly different markets out there. I will find an example — but not their logo and reply again.

I have question on that promoter program, if someone buys from other people, do you still get a 15% referral earnings?

75 sets of hand fans (that's 750 hand fans) for a wedding anniversary for $155.38 in royalties.
(oh to have orders like these everyday ... (wishful thinking)).

Out of curiosity, I sorted my spreadsheet by #of sales and found that I had four sales of 100 pieces. Two of the sales were the same product to the same person (consecutive years), so adding together 200 sheets of tissue paper for just under $100 income.

My biggest sale in terms of quantity ordered, total spent by customer, and net earnings to me, was actually four individual orders by same customer for same masks mid-2020. He purchased a total of 209 of them, spending $1,816, netting me a total of $83. (these were the masks with a max royalty of only 5%.) He wanted to order another 100 but only if the back fabric could be black and that wasn't possible ;(
My largest single order was back in 2019 when someone bought a bunch of matching stuff from one of my collections. She spent a total of $490, netting me $51. This was also the first time someone transferred my design to something else and she did that 5 times, including putting the design on cake-pops which really floored me.
My largest single line-item was 20 packs of paper napkins early this year. They spent a total of $412 on them, netting me $47. I don't know what someone needed 1,000 napkins for but it must have been important to spend over $400 on them!

This is going to sound crazy but I still have to look at it and smile. Someone made a huge purchase of ceramic tiles which would have made me over 3k. Sure enough the sale came back pink. Just someone messing around. Less than a week later same customer spent over 17k on tiles and I cleared 2.7 k - I was on cloud nine when the 30 days passed and it ended up to be real. That was like me hitting the lottery. That is going on two years ago and I have never seen anything even close to it again.

WOW!!! That is beyond-words awesome! Did they leave a review? I'd a been dying to see a pic of the final project they used them for.
This also reflects what I've said many times - that I wish Z would push home decor type stuff as much as they do weddings & other stationery. There's big money to be made if we can get the attention of interior designers and realtors staging houses and GC's. Imagine that market knowing they can get the exact colors & theme they need for every situation from this reputable supplier...

She was very pleased with them — we both ordered one to make sure they were exactly what she wanted — so there were not surprises. She didn’t leave a review. Here is a generic example — the real one, obviously had their logo.

Hi — at the promoter rate and who knows why it worked as well as it did. I’ve made specific products for other people with different results. Sometimes the stars are aligned and it works.

I was wondering what they used them for. Must have re-measured and changed the order. I really didn't expect it to go through. I was thinking someone doing a kitchen above stove or maybe bathroom.

Wow, that's impressive! My biggest sale was $51, from selling 300 wedding invitations. It was such a thrill to see such a large order come in, and it really made my day!

With the latest drop in sales for most everyone, I was surprised last month to have one person order twice, for a total of 50 -- Ping Pong Balls! Designed as a family reunion themed gift, I am assuming that is what they were ordered for. Only about $20 in income, but as I said - a surprise in this slow economy.

5 acrylic awards ($75 in royalties).
Highest number of products sold: 500 postcards.
When I saw the number "500" I almost fainted. 😀

My strangest and largest sale was just this week. Still can't get my mind around it. Someone bought $1200 (commission $168) of tissue paper. I figure they are doing hundreds of swag bags or wrapping a car. In the past, all my large quantity sales have been for buttons (I've sold up to 500 buttons in a single sale).
