I'd like to suggest 2 font features in the Design Tool that would be super helpful.

1. The ability to use the text as a mask, so that we could, for example, add a watercolor overlay or glitter or something, to template text.

2. The ability to stroke a font, or add a faux bold effect. This would be very helpful to make thinner fonts stand out better with the gold foil.

Thank you for considering these ideas.

Yes I would love to be able to mask text too the way we can mask shapes!

& to piggyback (is that okay?) :

3.) I would love a toggle option for CAPS lock (available to customers too) on or off. Instead of having to type text in ALL CAPS when we would like a line to be capitalized. That way customers don't have to remember to do that too to keep the design aesthetic the same as the sample.

4.) and maybe the ability to change the color of individual letters in a word like RAINBOW way I was able to do it here.

I agree that using text as a mask would be wonderful, but I suspect that, though it's a vector image, it may not be the same as the SVG files we can use as masks. I'd happily be wrong about this. In the meantime, you can still create your own rasterized text outside of Zazzle to be used as a mask as long as you don't set it as a template. Customers wouldn't be able change it.

I absolutely LOVE the idea of using text as a mask! I hope it will be taken in consideration!
