Can the Zazzle design team add the option of changing the color of the design tool artboard?

When I’m designing something that will ultimately be placed on a black product (like a T-shirt, for example), I have to create a temporary black box that covers the artboard to be able to see white text and other white elements on the artboard. It’s not a big deal, but sometimes I forget to delete that black box and it ends up on the finished product, causing me to delete the product and create a new one.

With the option of being able to change the artboard color, I can easily modify an existing design to work on a variety of shirt colors.

Thanks for your consideration.

This might help in many situations. In the top toolbar, click on 'Settings' and then 'Dark Mode' all the way at the bottom.

@Jadendreamer13 or you could just fill with black and make deleting the background color part of your final checks post for sale routine

Well, son of a gun. I didn’t know that. I’ll give it a try. 🙂 Thanks!

That’s what I’ve been doing. About 10% of the time, I forget to delete it….and I have to delete that newly created product, then repost it.

Holy moly, Jerry, I’ve just entered the dark mode. And I like it!
