I tried to find an existing thread for this but couldn't find one so apologies if this is a duplicate.
It's my turn to be in the A/B test with the alert bell on my profile.

1.) Could the alert number be a different color (not red, since it doesn't require a response)? Could the bell be placed all the way to the right side of our profile pic so that the chat remains more prominent, since THAT is an "action" item, while the bell alerts are "passive/nonurgent" items.

2.) It's listing the quantity sold as though it's an individual sale. No, I didn't get 144 sales within the last half hour. That would be lovely. But it's really a few sales that resulted in a total quantity of that number of cards.

I feel like it's toying with my emotions. : )

Maybe I'm missing something (I'm all ears), but I'm not finding the actual/functional usefulness, aside from locating those spam accounts lol - because I have nothing specific to do when someone follows me, and use the actual stats reports to check sales.

I'm not opposed to it existing, but the manner in which it is "alerting" me is functionally distracting from actual work processes while on-site. It pops up a bright red number every time a page refreshes, and I keep thinking I should be responding to a chat or that something is wrong?

Yep, I'm one of those people who HATES alerts and has to have my message counts down to zero on every app I own. 🤣 I practically  jump when that thing lights up in the corner.

It should be notifying you about the number of sales, not the quantity of products ordered. We should have this fixed soon.

Part of the A/B test too.

Are any privacy laws being broken due to sharing full names in the drop down? ie John Smith liked your product, Jessie Jones added whatever to a collection.

We don't get full names when we make a sale... just wondering

Edited to add - also the sale notifications aren't immediate with about an hour's delay before the notification appears - is this intentional?

@Sara_H

That is the name they chose to display on their profile so the person is aware that it is public.  I think if it was displaying a full name where they had a pseudonym that would be a privacy issue.

My recent followers are a mixed bag of first name initial, full name, or a nickname type and that is what seems to come up in the notification feed.

@Malissa Thanks!

I've had some notifications with first name only so perhaps they have only just entered their first name in their profile.

I do like the fact we are notified when we get a review.

Suggestion for reviews left on international sites to be consolidated on our .com account from all sites (pretty please)

Ok, we've made some adjustments. From now on your sales notifications will be much more consistent with how the Royalty History page appears, so 1 order for 50 invitations will show as 1 sale. This doesn't affect notifications that have already been sent out, just new notifications
