I am happy we have a more diverse range of fonts and am looking forward to see what other fonts we get in the serif and sans serif categories too, etc.

However, it would be really great if the text tool could get a revamp to include an ALL CAPS feature so that we don't have to type in CAPS to achieve that effect (so if we change our mind, we can just toggle it off and not have to delete the entire text and retype it in standard case.)

Also, since many of the fonts installed have multiple weights and styles available in the wild, but those aren't included in what is available on Z, maybe the option for a faux bold, faux italic feature so we can bold or italicize some of the text we would like that doesn't have that weight or style included from its family in our options.

Lastly I'd really love if the text boxes could auto resize instead of taking up the entire width of the page because it becomes a headache when trying to move other items around.

I think there were a couple other things the text features could use, but they are escaping my mind right now!

Cheers!!

I agree with the other options, but I don't know how auto resize would work. We need the ability to size the text boxes individually as we see fit, to make sure the text fits around elements.

Hi Connie what I mean by auto resize, is that instead of the box going across the entire design and obscuring other elements, is that we can set the size, location, elements etc how we want, and then when some edits their text, the text maintains the position and size we set for it, but automatically adjusts the length to fit the text WITHOUT changing the size, orientation etc of the elements. The way it works in other programs. I am not sure I am explaining this clearly, but if I type the "23" for a date, I dont need the text box for the 23 to span the entire width of the page! It obscures elements underneath it, and then is just annoying when making adjustments. The box surrounding the 23 should fit the 23 and if for someone reason someone has a date that is 423 (doesn't exist but for this purpsose, lol) they can type it in and it will expand to fit, but still maintain its sizing and location based on how I set the design up. This is literally how it works in other software and programs, so I dont think its impossible to achieve in code on the backend!
