I was thinking of two suggestions: let silver gold and platinum designers easily flag items that don't belong in whatever search terms they are found in. That's suggestion #1.

Suggestion#2 is allow bronze silver gold and platinum designers to tag five to ten per user item that they think are good enough to appear in the first few pages of the marketplace. That way designers could highlight their best products and the marketplace should have more meaningful search results

Interesting thought... to clean up the MP that is. I do love that dream considering I'm "keep things tidy" kind of gal.

While I totally think the MP has tons of lesser designs I don't think giving Bronze and up the opportunity to pick what Zazzle should place on those first pages as being fair. There are tons of designs that are wonderful and some very unique that don't see the light of day from those who have not reached Bronze level.

Zazzle has set much of the search for the subjects they want to promote by giving EP's and making them a priority in the MP. I doubt they will change things on that front unless they see it no longer serves their bottom line to do so.

Personally, as much as I not a fan of AI, I would hope Zazzle could make a program that would scan the design to make sure the products title, description and tags match. Cleaning up the MP in this way would hide those products who have meta data spam and are climbing popularity.
