We all know how the heavy hand of the delete bot can come down on us from one simple tag mistake but can Zazzle maybe start deleting discontinued products? I'm sure there are times that other suppliers are being searched for but when items have been discontinued for months, why not just delete them from the database rather than having store owners do it?

@RMorganSnapshot  I think it's useful for discontinued products to not be deleted straight away, so that we have the chance to transfer the design to another product first if we wish. However, I don't tend to notice immediately if something is discontinued, I only see it if I happen to go to it in my catalogue. So perhaps some kind of more obvious notification, when a product type is discontinued, could work. It could ask 'Would you like to delete this?' and we click yes, or no if we need to transfer the design first.

That feature already exists under Statistics>Visibility>Discontinued.

It isn't quite the same as I was thinking of, because currently, you have to deliberately click on 'Discontinued' to see whether it applies to any of your products.  99+ per cent of the time there are no results, so I don't usually click on it.

If there was a little number or red dot, or whatever, next to Stats - Visibility - 'Discontinued' when one of your products was affected, you would know you only needed to click through when you saw that.
