forum settings - solutions etc

seems funny to me, that the forum sections where I can make useful suggestions/hints/methods, are the ones where I get no recognition... they do not contain the "top solution authors" section. For example  the Tips and Tricks, Ideas and Solutions sections (hello!! these are SOLUTIONS!!) , and yet the General a discussion forum, where there is not necessarily a question being posed, has this top authors section. Seems silly that when someone just poses a kudos kind of comment, someone can have a solution accepted! just my opinion here, I hlp lots of people out, as do many of us, yet we get no recognition from the forum setup because we haven't actually posed a question..
