Cart Message to Customer

And another question in this same area... there is one that says you can add a a personal thank you when someone adds your product to their cart.  Where does that message appear for the customer?  I can find no evidence that this is working even tho' I have something in that field in my advanced settings. ???

It works for me as I often get questions in chat re how to implement the advice given.

I tested this by adding one of your products to my cart. I got no message on site. If one comes to me in a few days by email, I will try to remember to let you know.

I also do Postcrossing!

Thanks Windy!  @CreativeLeahG - does the message show for customer immediately on their screen? It isn't an email after the fact, correct?

I'm not entirely sure, it might differ depending on which message it is as there are a few for different stages.

Just tried and I get the one for Following someone

but the one for Adding to Cart seems to have been replaced by a large pop-out panel now, contents of which seem to vary depending on product you added to cart.

I tried a number of random products from random designers, and only got this panel (which is great BTW) which does not contain the personal message from Creator.

Thanks for that test @ColsCreations . Maybe a moderator can shed some light.

Just wondered if any moderators have ideas on this?
