This is an idea I had not and sure if it is technically possible, but thought I'd suggest it anyway.

The reason Pinterest prefer the long vertical rectangle images to squares is because they work better on a mobile phone. Ie they match the dimensions of the mobile screen giving a better experience for mobile users.

NOTE: This would also apply to Zazzle customers viewing products on their phones!

Our collections when shared on Pinterest look great and suit this purpose as they feature the cover image above then 4 images below.

It would be so amazing if we could have the same experience when pinning single products from the product page. The proposal is that the pinned image in addition to sharing the product image it includes 4 of the 'alternative product views' below. Thus satisfying Pinterest's needs for vertical images ( not square).

Alternatively (or, as well as)  we could have the option to download such an image to then share to Pinterest.

Thoughts?

That’s a fabulous idea. Couldn’t you just take a screen shot then crop it to the size you need?

When I’m scrolling Pinterest the long, vertical pins always catch my eye first.

Would be great if this was a built-in option provided by Z, but just wanted to note that you can do this with the free Nifty tools quite easily right from the product page. You can choose 2 images or 3 from the product page previews, and whether you want a "tall" pin or a "standard" pin. (The exact dimensions depend on whether you've picked 2/3 or tall/standard). Here's a sample pin I just did using the 3 images, standard size.

You can find the tools here. https://niftytoolz.com/   Left side menu, Other Tools, the top two bookmarklets.

@ColsCreations  I'd prefer to just do it from the Zazzle site as after creating products I automatically share them so going to a third party website and tweaking this and that is just more time. If I do that I may as well create my own.

Yeah I get that, it would be really great if Zazzle had such feature built-in. 🙂 Just wanted to point out an easy alternative until such time there's another one. Once you put the bookmarklet on your toolbar you don't have to go to a third party site, you just click the bookmarklet from the product page and then you get a page to select the images you want to use and click create and you have your collage image there ready to download and use. It's really fast.
