Need to be able to delete items from within collections

It would be so great if, when we are in a collection, we could delete items from them. I have been reorganizing my store and deleted some items without first removing them from collections. Now I have collections with items in them that are no longer available. I would really like to have a delete option within collections.

You don't have to worry @randysgrandma, any items that you delete from your store are automatically deleted from the collection too. And if you have a product that you want to remove from a collection, it can be done from within the collection by clicking on the 'lines and check mark' icon in the top right corner of the product . Scroll down the collection list until you find the checked item and uncheck it.

I actually second this suggestion and would like to expand it: It would be really convenient if all product management options (delete, edit details, make hidden etc) were available within Collection view. It would be super convenient because, for instance, when I want to delete all products with some particular design, I could just go to a Collection where they all are and delete them from there; as of now I have to search for them within my store backend, and the search doesn't always return them all; I then have to remember oh wait, I had a blanket with this design, and search for blankets.... and do so several times. If product management option were accessible within Collections, it would be super helpful.

I did not know that if I deleted a product it would be deleted from collections. It has not always been that way, and I am not sure all of them get deleted now. Seems I have found a few that weren't.

Witty Betty, it is frustrating that when we search our stores products not all with the search term we use are included.

Seems like the ability to delete from a collection is no longer working. When I click on icon in upper corner to remove item a box comes up to add it to a collection.
