This falls in the category of not very important things, but I've noticed that there's a new flashy thing that appears near the Zazzle logo - something in shades of pink and blue. But it goes by so quickly that I can't read it! I'm assuming it's just an attention grabbing doo-dad, but if it's something important, I'm thinking they might want to slow it down a bit because for all my trying I haven't been able to figure out what it says - I think the word "amazing" is in there, but that's all I can get before it disappears.

Anyhow, it would be an interesting eye-grabbing way to alert customers to sales etc. but if the intent is for customers to actually be able to read it, I'd suggest slowing it down a bit! 😉

It says Make Holidays Zamazing.

But yes, it goes by very quickly and could stand to be slowed down, perhaps leave it in place for 10 seconds once it pops into view.

@KeegansCreation Wow! You have eagle eyes! I'm super impressed - also glad to know that it wasn't anything important!

Same! It's almost like a game now with me, trying to remember to focus on that part of the screen when entering Zazzle so I can try to see what it says before disappearing.

@ColsCreations Bwahahaha! I'm heartened to learn that I'm not the only person who's too slow to read the darned thing! 😂

Should be really easy to adjust as it's an animated gif. The gif can be slowed down, or put on a loop, rather than just play once. Photoshop used to have a section called Imageready that would fix this in seconds.

BTW, the title was supposed to say "flashy dingbat" not "flasy dingbat!" 🙄

I like the word, “flasy.” It’s less flashy, but still an attention getter. LOL.

@Jadendreamer13 Bwahahaha! Well, I've always been very good at "creative spelling!"  😉

I wonder why Zazzle chose pink and blue for their “flasy dingbat” instead of traditional holiday colors.

@Jadendreamer13 Good question! I have observed over the years that Zazzle has a real thing about favoring non-traditional holiday colors & designs. Just look at this spread from the front page:

It doesn't exactly scream "Christmas" to me! It's not necessarily a criticism - maybe that's what people are looking for? I dunno... but it always strikes me as weird.
