Hi,

It would be wonderful for creators if there was a notes field in the back end of our products where creators could enter graphics information and license information for each design as it is created, instead of creators having to create additional spreadsheets or databases to keep this information. It would be right there with each design! No confusion and easier to monitor if your license has a maximum amount you can sell before upgrading to the next license level.

@klsantillo

You could try this, might be the most focused and direct way to keep specific details and info for an image.
On a mac—-
Using your image go to File>Get info>Comments>then add whatever notes, i.e. copyright, license info, color profile, PODs uploaded to….Works with png, psd, jpg etc.
To doublecheck that the info I am posting here is correct, I just tested it by adding my copyright notice  and other details to “get info” for my image, checked to see if it stayed there, then emailed the image to myself, opened “get info”, and the notice/text was still in “get info” for the image
The advantage of this method is that when you save your image to a file on your computer, in the future you can later open the get info for that image to find whatever notes about it that you need.
On a PC,properties is equivalent to "get info" on a mac.

Don''t have the time right now to upload image to Z, download it, check it with get info. Can't say whether the info holds on z, You can check it out with zazzle images yourself if you want  to test it using z

There's a note field for Saved Designs, and for individual images in our My Images,  if they could implement one for published products that would be amazing. Putting licensing/source info in the notes field never occurred to me, that's a great idea! Also, if there was a dedicated field for such, the Content Review team would have something to refer to before deciding to pull something.

How did I never ever ever notice the little pencil edit icon for saved designs??? I can make use of that.

Where is this little pencil icon located? I can't seem to find it.

If you go to Images (My Images) and when you hover over an image it shows the image name and to the right of the name there is a little circle with an I in the center, click on this and it gives you some image details, you can add your own details there.

I was going to start a new post but found that it has already been suggested here so I will add my comment here.

It would be really cool if we could have a small "Product Notes" section for each of our products in the back end for designer view only. Similar to the "Description" field we have for images in the back end. If possible to be added to the Statistics area to be toggled on or off. It would be so handy to be able to add our own information for each product. I would use it to note details of things such as modifications I made, why I've hidden a product, whether I've done social media for it etc. At the moment I use spreadsheets to keep track of such things but it would be so much easier to have it all there on Zazzle.
