Pinning pieces that go together

It would be nice if instead of categories we could pin things that go together. For example wedding categories might have multiple invitations and multiple RSVP cards. It would help if we could just pin the RSVP cards that go with each invitation so that customers aren't bombarded with other invitations and RSVP cards.

How would that be different from putting them in a collection together?

If I understand your idea correctly, it would be different to a collection in that a single product would be linked directly to another product? An invitation for example would have a matching RSVP card "attached" to it on the product page?

The other thing it would be useful for is if you make a Mrs. And Mr. Product you could pin them together or mom and dad or grandma and grandpa. Stuff like that.

Isn't that what COLLECTIONS are for?

Once a collection is created, you are asked if you wish to have it open in one or more stores. Once the indexing/etc. is accomplished, the collection will show at the bottom of the PRODUCT page (a ribbon beneath the product image). Those interested can slide through the ribbon, or click on the BLUE COLLECTION TITLE to see all related items.
