Please add the ability to control the width of the side panels in the design tool.

The design tool is giving me fits today because I'm trying to work on some details of a design and the new areas thing is always covering up part of the design even when it's collapsed. I like this new feature, but it's getting in my way. 

The problem could be solved if we could have a slider to control the width of the left hand panel instead of an all or nothing choice between hogging up a huge chunk of the screen and collapsed. Same for the right hand panel though it's not as problematic.

I think it would be nice if we can shut it off in the setting menu in the design tool. That way we can remove it while designing if needed. I personally have no use for these as they add more clutter and just duplicate the original side bar. That's why I think there should be an option to shut it off so that way the designer can choose whether or not to use this feature.

@SJoy You mean remove the new areas stuff? That would certainly help, but it always seems that the sidebar is just way too wide for what I need and it takes up a huge amount of screen space. Maybe it has something to do with my screen resolution or settings. Hmmm....

Yes, that left sidebar is way too wide, and I too would like to be able to adjust the width.
