Hi there,

I just had a message from a customer asking if I have a pocket square to go with the tie she ordered.

I think the pocket square that goes with ties is an excellent idea.

It’s not technically a pocket square- perhaps a bit large, but there is the 26x26 square scarf.

I suggested that, but the customer assumed that the fabric was not the same on the tie and bandana.

Didn't those used to be called hankies?

Anyway it is a great idea to have matching hankies to go with the ties for the guys formal suits.

Also, why isn't my signature showing on these posts?

Thanks for bringing up this discussion about pocket squares.
Thinking about it, this could be a dual product, offered as a handkerchief and/or a pocket square.
From researching just now....
...Pocket squares typically range in size from just under 10 x 10 inches to about 17 x 17 inches, depending on the fabric used.A standard handkerchief size is 12x12 inches (30.5x30. 5cm) ...
Z could find a happy medium range for fabric and size (maybe 11x11in) for both the square and the handkerchief, doing their beta testing to see if there is enough consumer interest, then finding a dependable supplier, testing the product before releasing it into the wild.
Good point about matching fabric for pocket square to have it close or similar to fabric for tie. All the while making sure that the pocket square holds its shape in the pocket.
