I'm hoping given all the recent changes, that Zazzle will host a webinar to share with the creators on this wonderful platform what we need to do to be seen. I can't be the only one who has been hit with a sharp dip in sales and views. I just looked at my link over history and I've gone from 200+ clicks a day to 8. Obviously something has dramatically changed in how our pins, and social posts with our links and affiliate links are being seen by search engines.

Is Zazzle now giving more weight to Titles over Tags or vice versa? Are our old links no longer working with the new Ambassador program? I'm sure Zazzle wants all of us to succeed rather than just a small handful that know the recipe to the secret sauce and charge $$$ to share it. Shouldn't all the creators know the best SEO practices preferred by the Zazzle algorithm so we can all sell more?

Those who know the “secret sauce” (love that name) learned it by doing research on SEO best practices available at no cost on the internet and social media, at low cost via books and online courses, and at moderate to high cost via intensive in-person and one-on-one courses.

It would be great if Zazzle would wave a magic wand and tell everyone everything they need to know to generate monster sales, but the secret to POD success includes more than just knowing how to use the right keywords.

It also includes developing killer design skills, marketing skills, writing skills, social media skills, trend research and analysis skills, basic business skills, developing a unique and instantly recognizable brand, and more.

Zazzle’s top sellers don’t just add a little secret sauce to a bland product and hope for the best, they improve all the key ingredients necessary for success.

Today there was an offer for a free week-long design course. If you don’t have top-notch design skills, are you going to take advantage of that free offer and learn how to improve or tweak your design skills?

What about your writing skills? Are you going to rely on artificial intelligence to generate your title, tags, and product descriptions or are you going to learn how to write them yourself in your own unique voice that matches and enhances your brand?

Are you going to watch free YouTube videos on the top five niches of the week, or are you going to learn how to do your own research focused on your specific niche?

You could throw a little secret sauce on your burger, but if everyone is using the same sauce, then how will you stand out in a sea of bland burgers?

You have to invest in yourself to develop these skills, find customers, generate sales, and rise to the top. Then you have to invest in your business to assemble the tools and skills needed to scale and grow into a POD powerhouse. You can’t rely Zazzle to do that for you.

I don't think I would hold my breath waiting for Zazzle to tell us how to navigate their SEO.  I don't mean to be rude at all; I just don't think they're going to chime in here. 😊

I suggest you get comfortable with an AI and start asking questions.  I'm not a huge fan b/c with great power comes great responsibility, and the World today is... well, it's not the old days, is it?  That said, if you're searching the Internet, you're going to take an 8- or 12-hour day and you're going to end up lost.  An AI will navigate the web, summarize its findings, and give you bullet points and exact steps as action items.

And THAT said, not everything will work.  You need trial and error and to combine AI with your own common sense and experience.
