- Hi, I need help, with some urgency, with the answer to a client. She knew that this could happen at some point. Today I received an inquiry from a client about a flower girl proposal postcard that he would like a digital download. This product does not support downloading and the design also includes a font purchased by me. I don't usually allow downloading in designs that have fonts other than Z because generally, even with a commercial license, they don't allow downloading. I have informed the client that I can transfer the design by making a font change, but I suspect that if he only wants to print one card the price will seem high. I did not want to comment on this aspect because if I have learned anything in my many years of customer service it is that I should not judge if something is cheap or expensive when someone wants to buy it, I do not know them and they may be offended.... So, could you help me? with any answer if you complain about the price? I don't know how to say it without offending.

I do this all the time. They say they want the digital download when looking at a budget invite, which are not enabled. I provide the link (which is quite a bit more expensive as they are attached to a regularly priced invite) and write "Here it is!" It really isn't your place to worry about the customer's budget. So I never mention it. They either buy it or they don't. 90 percent are thrilled and I make a sale. No one has ever complained about the price.
