Hello everyone!

I wanted to take a moment to introduce you to a new store called Owl and Kitten Art. As the name suggests, it's a place where the charm of owls and kittens comes to life through art.

I'm excited to share this new venture with all of you. Owl and Kitten Art is a fairly new store, and I'm learning as I go. Currently, there aren't many designs up, but I'm working diligently to expand the collection and offer a wider range of products.

If you have any suggestions or requests for specific designs or products, please feel free to share them. I'm open to new ideas and excited to create art that resonates with all of you. Your support and feedback are invaluable to me as I grow and develop Owl and Kitten Art.

You can check out Owl and Kitten Art at https://www.zazzle.com/store/owlandkittenart. Thank you for joining me on this journey, and I look forward to sharing more art and designs with you in the future.

the all-over-print totes are the first thing that come to my mind for another product to put your lovely designs on.

if you have the Transfer design option turned on, you can also pull up one of your products (e.g. magnet), and the Zazzle Make Engine will suggest other products that might be a good fit for your design (based on your original design's shape).

you can also check out the Zazzle marketplace to get an idea of the products that are available for putting your designs on.

your title descriptions are quite vague, e.g. "Coffee Kitten Mug". customers will be hard pressed to find your mug amid the hundreds of thousands of other cat mugs. use more adjectives and descriptors like "Cute Kitten Staring at Coffee in Big Double-Handled".  you don't need to add "mug"'; Zazzle handles that.

I'd also suggest a few long(er) tailed tags. IMHO, holiday doesn't really seem to be appropriate. e.g. "cute little cat", "giant coffee mug", "earth tones", "cat lovers", "feeling thirsty", "coffee enthusiasts", etc.

Hello and thank you for the feedback. I started to prepare some changes like names and still working out the tags. What do you think of something like "Kitten's Gaze Coffee Companion Double-Handled" or "Kitten's Gaze Coffee Companion"?

@I-Love-Purple

"gaze" and "companion" are a bit out there, IMHO (actually, truth be told, so is "Double-Handed" 😉 ).

when creating titles, tags, and product descriptions, envision doing so from the viewpoint of a customer visiting the Zazzle marketplace.

also, check out this Help article Title, Description & Tagging Best Practices – Zazzle Help Center

@WHS_Designs

How does this sound? "Kitten's Calm Stare at a Cup of Coffee"

Another example of a change to a product name I made was from "An Owls Flight" to "An Owls Flight Above The Clouds"

@WHS_Designs

Double-Handed? Are you referring to the "Double-Handled" part you suggested or did you see a typo somewhere? Was looking all over for it but couldn't find it.

@I-Love-Purple

read the Zazzle Help article Title, Description & Tagging Best Practices – Zazzle Help Center for title, tagging, and description best practices. ask yourself, “What keywords would a customer use when searching for a design like mine?"

use the research tools listed there (notably, Google Trends and Google Search, which are free) to help you get started.

"Cute Kitten Stares at Big Cup of Coffee" would be my final title (note how I use descriptors in front of the nouns kitten and cup).

for your title, "An Owls Flight Above the Clouds", you don't incorporate the other elements in your design, i.e. the stars or the moon. IMHO, "Owl Soars Above Clouds on Starry Moonlit Night Sky", would be far more descriptive (not to mention poetic) to a potential customer.

maximize the number of characters you are given for your title (you're allowed 50), but don't clutter up the title with articles like "a", "an", and "the" -- these eat unnecessarily into your character count.

good luck!

Old person learning new things thanks to you, @WHS_Designs . That article clarified a few things for me and reminded me of others I already knew but that had faded. Why didn't I know that article existed? I don't know. The one thing I wish, however, is that Zazzle would look over their articles for grammatical errors. 😞

@Barbara I rarely visit the Help center. most of what I learn is through trial and error. 😉 one can always learn new things at any age ... as long as one continues to attempt the learning process for new and different things. as for the grammatical errors in Zazzle's articles ... it keeps my spelling skills sharp! 😉

@Barbara @I-Love-Purple @Maralane

a tip for all: if you must use the 'and' article, substitute it with an ampersand '&' ... frees up a few characters.

another tip for all: use a online character counter (it would be nice if Zazzle implemented it for the title field, as it does elsewhere) like charactercountonline.com.

In a moment of desperation some time ago, I figured out the use of an ampersand. Every space counts, right?

Really cute stuff. I bet they would look great as art for a kids room

@Maralane

Thank you! Still working out some of the basics, but more is to come.
