Just created a new Pinterest board for Zazzle. Feel free to join it and add your stuff. I have added categories already, but please feel free to add more if I don't already have the right one for your products. I'll try to keep the categories alphabetical for easy finding as more are added.

Thanks for this! Do you prefer to focus on any particular product type on that board. ALL my stuff is fantasy-based (semi-abstract, surrealistic, sometimes with a touch of cubism). Right now I've got separate boards for each product type on my profile, and a Collection centered around each artwork with a variety of product types in that collection. Is that a viable strategy?...

Pin anything you want as long as it's Zazzle! All my stuff is fantasy based too. And I've just been grabbing things I think are pretty and made by others as well as my own stuff for this board. I have a pretty varied follower list, so I think anything goes is fine.

Thanks! Okay now I have to ask... I'm pretty tech savvy, but I'm not seeing HOW to put my stuff on the board. Is there a procedure where I use the share button for a product in my Zazzle store and the board SHOULD show up on the list that pops up with all my regular boards listed? Because I'm not seeing it. Or is there another procedure? Using Opera web browser on an Android tablet, don't have the Pinterest app installed. Guess I'll have to if it's mandatory. Uninstalled it because of memory issues.

You haven't joined and I don't see you in the requests. But I found you and sent an invite! Once you accept, you'll be able to see the group board and pin to it like your other boards.

I probably know the answer already but I thought I'd just throw this out there for discussion. Is the requirement that it's Zazzle mean that specifically the link has to be one generated directly via the Zazzle interface to share a product as a Pin? Or can it be some other method by which a Zazzle product is promoted? I'll give you an example. I have a WordPress blog that is devoted specifically to my Zazzle store. Every "post" to this site is a product, and I have "categories" to mirror (1) Product Types, and (2) Collections. Right now I have my Pinterest account set to automatically pull RSS feeds from my blog, and put them in my own Pinterest boards for each product type. Of course these don't lead DIRECTLY to Zazzle, but to my blog which then has the product pics in a gallery and Zazzle's embedded HTML. I'm guessing that technique is NOT what you had in mind for this shared board, but since it's in my head I thought I'd throw it out there for others interested in promoting their Zazzle on Pinterest. Here's some links for anyone who wants to peek...
This category...

Leads to this board...

This category...
https://shineshift.wordpress.com/category/products/plaques/

And so on. Another bonus is that by routing our stuff via WordPress we have (1) unlimited scheduling capabilities. Products can be moved into WordPress but in a scheduled queue, so Pinterest isn't spammed with a bunch of products cranked out in one day, and (2) it's an easy way for potential interested customers to sign up for email notifications via WordPress's subscription feature. Customers then have the option to receive those notifications ASAP, or in daily/weekly consolidations.
Well that was more than I wanted to write, buried in a thread. LOL. I should probably post this in Tips & Tricks 🙂

I was thinking links directly from Zazzle. But as long as the link being pinned is for an item on Zazzle, and not like some random blog post that just is tangentially product oriented or where Zazzle is an afterthought I'm okay with that.
Just trying to keep the board from being spammed with things from other sites or that have nothing to do with Zazzle products. I want us to get sales, and not lead potential buyers off on a rabbit hole of other websites where they forget they might have wanted to buy something from us!
I've already had to deny a few people requesting to join that had no Zazzle anywhere in their pins, but used other print on demand services.

That was my understanding. Pins directly to Zazzle using the "share" button on their products is what I've been using. My dilemma is that as of right now I'm posting new products at a rate of about two dozen a day and I definitely don't want to spam the board with that stuff all at once. There's no direct way to schedule these things with Zazzle. Which is why for my own boards, the link to the blog posts is what I'm doing. The blog posts are really nothing BUT the product listings, the title, description, and tags are identical, the posts with image galleries are using the downloadable Zazzle mockups, and of course every link and image lead to the real Zazzle product. The BIG thing is that with WordPress I can schedule these things well in advance and spread 'em out over a perioud of time... and when Pinterest is configured to pick up blog posts via RSS, they come through as something CREATED not just "saved"... meaning things show up more prominently on the main profile page. Whether or not that means that followers are more likely to see it, I'm not sure. So what would a reasonable posting frequency be? 2 per day? Spread out over various product types?

I've been doing 5-6 of my own per day. And then random amounts of other people's stuff who haven't joined the board. Whatever pops up in my feeds and that I think is pretty. I don't see a problem with you doing 5 across various product types if you want to.

Thanks for joining! Sorry it took a bit to get you approved. There's enough members on the board now that the app doesn't show the requests anymore. I have to approve everyone from my computer, even when I click the alert on my phone the request doesn't actually show up.
