Hello everyone, I have no views at all in the store. my store does not bring results at all, there are no sales, although I work hard on my store and spend a lot of time on it, but the result is 0. I don’t know what to do with it anymore, I don’t want to give up, but I’m running out of energy to invest in a business that doesn’t bring result. Please share your experience, do you think it is worth continuing or not. Thanks

@Vladyslava

You have some really great designs and I will promote some of them for you on Pinterest, but you need to promote them regularly on social media platforms like Pinterest, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. With hundreds of thousands of designs on the Zazzle marketplace, a better mousetrap doesn't sell itself; it needs visibility and positive word-of-mouth to get noticed and stand out.

Let family, friends, and associates know about your shop via printed business cards; blogs; and videos.

You can also do some promotional exchanges with other Zazzle creators:

Zazzle doesn't do promoting for you -- it handles the manufacturing, inventory, shipping, and customer service.

@Vladyslava ,

Hi! I understand your frustration however, stores on Zazzle are like actual physical stores - both require letting people know where they are and what they have to offer. I would recommend you join our promotion exchange (click the link above posted by WHS_Designs) to give others the opportunity to promote your items so shoppers will see them. If you're not sure how to promote the items others have designed in a way that you will earn some money for promoting them, ask any of us. Or simply skip that part for now since you're so new to this (it's okay).

Thank you for your answer, I really don't really know how to advertise my products, I try to keep instagram and pinterest but there is no result at the moment. Can you share with me how others can advertise products and how can I do it? Thanks

same with me....I hardly get 4-5 views....can anyone promote my store

So lets make believe your store is a retail store... and you just opened your doors.

How do you plan to let people know your doors are open?  I can tell you one thing.... it's not magic. They are not going to flock to your store if they do not know you are open.

I would say: just think about that

Everyone is saying promote on social platforms but how do you get people your social platform in the first place. I started a second pinterest account a few days ago and began adding pins but so far nothing, no views or anything. You may be thinking that a few days isn't much time but I started my first pinterest account over a year ago and it doesn't get much of anything either.

Part of promoting in social media is interacting. Lets say you design things related to cats. Find other people in that social media platform that sells cat things or just writes articles about cats. follow them. Maybe if they find what you are promoting interesting, they'll follow you back. Now everyone they follow has a chance to see your cat stuff. Maybe they like it and also start follow you. Now you've increased your odds of selling something to an audience who might see value in what you are designing. Starting to get the idea now?
This is how I build my meager following of 1400 people on one of the social platforms and hint 1400 isn't much in the world of social media but I laser focused on who I am following. Zero of them are other Zazzlers... they're just other people who share in what I enjoy sharing / designing.. Every so often a sale comes from one of my posts there so I know I'm reaching an audience that has some interest in what I'm designing.

Another hint: do NOT spam them with your stuff. Just posting things like Look at my great cat coffee mug is not likely to keep people's interest... you may even turn them off enough they stop following you if you doo it over and over!  Write posts like I just designed this fun cat themed coffee mug in pink and purple that appeals to women... any thoughts on how this looks? This asks for feedback, this is one way to engage with people.

K. That's all I've got eft of energy today. Best

Hi, here's what I did.

First of all, I'm not on social media other than Pinterest - that's it. (that didn't seem to help) At the beginning, I shared my store with family and friends and asked them to share it on Facebook or whatever social media they were on. After that, not much seemed to be happening. Word of mouth is great. I told my dentist, my doctor, people I'd meet - I'd just mention it to them and if they were interested, I'd give them the link. But really, it takes time. For the first 6 months I had no sales, but then, I sold a mug! I was so thrilled over that one mug. After a while, I began to see other products being sold - slowly. Recently, I started a blog. I have been with Zazzle for over three years, and in that time, (under "ALL" in my earnings) I have finally reached the total of over $1000. Keep at it. Be patient. Best of luck.

I think you're correct, that starting a blog is the best way forward (or a Youtube channel if you're comfortable doing that).

I normally call it 'link-laundering' - so, NOT using social media to send people to Zazzle, but instead send them to blog post which talks about something interesting that is related to your products. Then link the products in the blog post (as text links and maybe also product images at the end of the article).

Certainly I can vouch for Pinterest not being great if you just pin products - whether directly from Zazzle using the button, or creating your own pins. I would estimate about 1 in 1000 of my pins gets clicked on. And over the last 10 years or so, over several accounts and maybe a few tens of thousands of pins, I have never got an external link click. Zero!

Partly that may be due to Pinterest demographics and interests though. It's mainly female (or it used to be), and mainly weddings, home decor, cosmetics & makeovers, travel, etc on there. Using Pinterest trends on there is quite useful to see what's blowing up at the moment.

Something I've just started experimenting with (for my own site ATM, rather than Zazzle) is doing research on what is trending on Pinterest, and then creating products related to that. Rather than creating a product and then trying to conjure up an audience! Probably useful for doing Zazzle too - just don't do it randomly. Even though you'll be researching trends, try to keep them in a reasonably constrained niche.
