Not sure about Pinterest

I have mixed feelings about Pinerest need input about Pinterest pro and cons. I have read so much about Pinterest some said it the best thing others say it pulls customers away from their products by showing other products. Others say Pinterest and Ambassador program is the way to go. I heard security is a problem with Pinterest. Also, people say it is too time consuming to post on Pinterest. Input advise would be nice on experience you had with Pinterest. Does it increase sales? Thank you.

There are plenty of YouTube videos available to help you learn about Pinterest. I would start there.

Thank you, YouTube videos are not really helpful they are all pretty well cookie cutter no real explanation. Most of them recommend Pinterest in one breath but then makes it clear no real answer some people like Pinterest, and some don't but not really from the point of experience and using it to profit from just really not clear.  I find most YouTube videos are usually more of a how to do not how it really works for you and how to benefit from it kind of disappointing. I would like to hear from someone who has experience and can say what works and what does not work what Pinterest. Thank you for your reply very much appreciated.

I totally get where you're coming from — there’s a lot of mixed info out there about Pinterest. I’ve been using it consistently for my bridal shower invitations and themed party collections, and here’s what I’ve found:

Pros:

  • It’s still one of my top traffic sources, especially for seasonal products like fall or Christmas bridal showers

  • Great for long-term visibility — pins can resurface months later

  • It’s a good match for visual products like invitations and decor

  • I’ve had real customers say they found me through Pinterest

Cons:

  • It does take time to set up boards and design good pins

  • Pinterest sometimes shows competitor content next to yours — but that happens on Etsy and Zazzle too

  • You need to be intentional with keywords and board titles to get the most out of it

As for security — I haven’t had any issues, but I use a strong password.

If you enjoy creating content and want to build your brand long-term, Pinterest can really help. I recently created a Pink Coffee Bridal Shower Theme board for my Zazzle products and blog post and that alone has brought in extra views and saves.

Feel free to check it out here:

Hope that helps! Happy to answer questions if you have them.

Thank you, I have started to post to Pinterest your advice has helped me. I do not have a lot of time my granddaughter lives with me and has Autism, so I only have limited time. I see what you are saying about it benefits not only short term but long term. I will post on Pinterest. Thank you and will check out your work.
