To my horror, when posting something on Pinterest and linking to the product page, I noticed that it now FIRST shows the "Other designs you might like".
Then follows an image of what has been clicked on, followed by at least 60 other products you "might like" and only at the very bottom of the page some information about the design or product can be found. Neven mind the downgraded collection it belongs to.
If I were a customer I would run as fast as I could. Spam all over.
Please enable the promotion via a link to a certain product.

I noticed the same thing recently, and I agree it feels overwhelming from a customer’s point of view. When someone clicks a link, they expect to land directly on the product they were interested in ... not have to scroll past dozens of “other designs you might like” before they even see the details.
From a user experience standpoint, this creates friction. Studies show that over 70% of shoppers abandon a site if they can’t quickly find the product they clicked on. Baymard Institute (a leader in e-commerce UX research) has also found that distractions and unnecessary options can increase abandonment rates by up to 60%.
For us as designers, it means the product we worked hard to create isn’t front and center. For customers, it risks looking more like “spam” than a trustworthy store.
I really hope Zazzle reconsiders this layout — or at least gives the option to link directly to the product page. A cleaner, more direct presentation would almost certainly improve conversion rates and make the shopping experience better for everyone.
